“1962 WILLYS KAISER FC-150 PARTS PARTMOBILE or BUILDER
4 cylinder Hurricane includes clear New Mexico USA TITLE (not a salvage).
I am really reluctant to get rid of my recently acquired FC, but I am slowly realizing I will not be able to get to this project. If you are interested, I have many more pictures on my personal website I can give you upon request.
This FC has been a long time resident of Northern NM and has some body wear, damage, and floor board rust through; however, the frame and axels are very, very straight and free of rust. I was almost shocked to see how true and easily a frame off restoration from this platform. The body will be the challenge.
The driver’s door is racked, much of the glass is broken up front. I have not tried to turn the engine over and was told the L134 Hurricane engine had not been started in years. The entire drivetrain is there. I did remove the ‘farmer Joe’ hoist in the back. ”
This looks like a great price. Only the hardtop is for sale.
“I have a complete Koenig hard top that has been installed on a 1948 CJ2A. The top has been on the CJ garaged for 25+ years and is rust free but does have minor dings and dents; nothing major. Driver and passenger windows function but the glass is cracked on both. I have removed the top from the CJ.”
Looks like a good price for the set. They are 11″ wide.
“Selling two pro-comp wheels, used but in perfect condition. 15” wheel diameter, “11 wide, 5×5.5″ bolt pattern.”
Parts jeep.
“This is a parts 1946 Willys CJ2A Jeep. The seats were recently sold with the MB I had for sale. It has axles, tranny/tcase, driveshafts, early CJ5 rims, 4 misc rims, and a couple gauges that are usable.”
UPDATE: Still Available.

<– Day 1 – Sun. Apr. 12th: On the Road Again, Finally | TRIP OVERVIEW | Day 3 – Tues. Apr. 14th: Winds and more Winds –>
Today’s goal was to drive from Twin Falls to Salt Lake City, which normally takes about 3 hours. I’ve traveled this route so many times that I mark my progress by familiar cracks in the road. And, every time I pass by a sign that announces the exit for City of Rocks, I tell myself I’m going to take that some day. Well, that ‘some’ day was today.
Knowing that at least some of the roads would be unpaved (turns out most were), I calculated the drive would be much longer than three hours. In fact, the drive took 9 hours, some of which included map checks, photo ops, and very short walks. I don’t advise doing this trip unless you have good maps. We lacked cell coverage for most of the day and there are very few helpful signs (not many roads either).
We took off about 8am from Twin Falls and drove east on I-84, before turning on State Highway 77. We quickly found ourselves following the old California Trail, a spur taken by wagon trains that left the Oregon Trail for California.
The first interesting town we encountered was Albion. Near the entrance to the town an old and abandoned Normal School loomed eerily by the road. We weren’t a bit surprised the a nearby sign boasted how spooky the place was. However, if this is your thing, you should check out this website.
When we got to the City of Rocks area, we stopped by the visitor’s center.
The ranger was friendly and helpful. She explained that travelers heading west on the California Trail found the City of Rocks a unique diversion from the long travels. Wagon trains would camp among the lower rocks. Several of the large rocks have carvings dating as far back as the 1840s.
As for rocks inside the visitors center, we didn’t find many. However, we did find this unexpected gem:
<– Trip Overview | Day 2 – Mon. Apr. 13th: Rocks, Tracks & Dusty Roads –>
It took most of the morning, but I finally wrangled Ann into the jeep so we could get the heck out of Pasco. Our goal was to make it to Twin Falls, Idaho. It’s not much of a stretch (only 6+ hours), but we did have a specific place to visit: Shoshone Falls, a place I’ve been promising we’d see.
Since we’ve covered much of the Pasco to Idaho trip in past photos, we won’t bore you with them here — in fact, we didn’t take any of the drive. However, we did have some excitement, which happens whenever my wife drives. Once she is behind the wheel she just goes …. she doesn’t really pay too much attention to signs (though she does follow the speed limit). On more than one occasion she’s driven happily past an exit. This time, we came close to missing the exit, but fortunately I looked up from my eWillys updates just in time to avoid an unplanned detour. She add’s endless unpredictability to our adventures 🙂
We reached the city of Twin Falls just in time to get to Shoshone Falls State Park with some sun left. We’d never visited the park and found it a literal oasis in the desert. We snapped a few photos before quickly realizing our selfie tactics were rusty. We shall work to improve those, so don’t pan us too loudly for our narcissistic desire to self-photograph . . . we are just practicing! Here are a few practice shots at the falls:
As the sunset, we retired to our motel in Twin Falls.
Tomorrow we will veer off the interstate for our first foray to the City of Rocks, a little known gem in a remote part of southwest Idaho.

Seth forwarded me a link to a website called Classic Vehicles. Among the offerings are a variety of Wagons, Wagoneers, Trucks, FCs, and other stuff. Most look like parts or restorations vehicles.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
Runs and plows.
“plow truck. would be an aggressive restore. New water pump, runs and drives plows keep in my garage during winter. Not many of these left. comes with a manuel and carb rebuild kit”
Buz stumbled upon this jeep shirt for kids at Cabella’s. You can also order it online. I looked for adult sizes, but couldn’t find any.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1300
Just for fun …. Even includes a trailer.
“This is a homemade replica of a Willys type Jeep. Has a Volvo 3 speed manual transmission, Volvo rearend and front suspension. The motor is a 17HP Kohler V-Twin, runs and drives fine, but needs a 3 speed shifter. Guy who built it only used 1st and reverse, but with the 3 speed said it would run 35MPH, and that was too fast for his kids. Has a trailer hitch for working around a small farm, or use as a golf cart. Would be great for a camping vehicle in a campground.
Open to trades, but please be reasonable. Could use a few small things to make it nicer, windshield, rollbar….
Headlights and tail lights work, even has hydraulic brakes, and brake lights work.
Asking $1300 obo, or possible trades.”
Buz found this link. A Junkyard in Longmont is closing. It sounds like a fun pick!

“1962 M170 Military Jeep. Very good condition, New Tires and Break system last year only 3500 made for Marine Corp.”
This Jeepster looks worthy of better photos.
“Good Mechanic condition and Nice body work….”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was listed at $4500.
The windshield sags a bit, but this might be a good resto-driver candidate.
“Korean War era Willys M-38 Jeep in good running condition. Motor is tight with no leaks. Electrical system converted to 12 volt from original 24 volt. Frame restoration done c.2008 – 2009. Transmission and 4WD works fine. All tires new military standard, including spare. Manual and extra parts included for restoration. This jeep is about 70% – 75% restored and will make a great project for restoration, or for recreational use as is.”
Looks solid.
“This is a very cool lifted and customized jeep with the original body. Original 3 speed transmission. Does about 50 top speed. Awesome to ride around town or take off road. Buick V-6 engine. ”
UPDATE: Was $2800.
Has some rust, but has an interesting history. Needs some TLC, but runs.
“1969 Kaiser Jeep CJ5
225 Dauntless V6, Manual 3 speed, 4×4. Almost all original. Clear MD title in hand.
A previous owner bought in Annapolis 1999 by a Marine who was stationed at Guantanamo Bay Cuba. Brought it down to the base and rebuilt engine while stationed there. He returned to Annapolis in 2000 put in storage. It has the base sticker on the windshield still!
Sold in 2012 and put in storage in Annapolis again. I purchased it this winter for a project and cannot keep it due to completing real estate school, potentially buying another house and career goals.
It has not been on the road, just driven around the farm.
The good: Rare V6. 3 speed with rear output shaft for a PTO drive. Almost all original. Runs great. 4×4 works great. Hubs lock and have no issues. All gears work fine, no issues.
Engine has new this year, battery, starter, new oil pump and oil, radiator hoses, Tstat and coolant, tune up. Original oil bath air filter is intact and functioning. Frame is good, running gear is all good. Tires are good and are on original rims which are hard to find. Lights work. Tailgate is intact and works.

(02/10/2015) It’s a project. Has some cutlas hubs that look good.
“1948 Willy’s Jeep, Selling Dad’s Jeep, owned since late 60’s, runs and drives, dad rebuilt and overhead valve 4 cylinder engine, I think it was out of a 55 or 56 Jeep and still runs good. The 4 wheel drive is not working because the front differential gears broke, the jeep is in need of some rust repair, as shown in the pictures, the steps and a few places on the sides where some brackets are spot welded. The seats are the original and were re-upholstered years ago, and have been covered, one seat has got sunburned in one corner on the back, the rear cushions have been stored inside and are like new. The Jeep comes with the original engine which was running, it was smoking but know knocks, also have extra windshield, wheels, transmission, bell housing and other miscellaneous parts, new a wiring harness, wiper motor, and fender flares. I have everything loaded on a trailer and will deliver the first 100 miles for free. $1,800.00 OBO”
