“1944 Ford Jeep Willys Engine 3.07 Chevy El Camino V8 1971 Driving great with working 4×4 Title in hand”
This nice looking CJ-5 shared by Maury is currently at $5000. Bidding ends in 6 days.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1968-jeep-cj-5-2/
“This 1968 Jeep CJ-5 was acquired by the seller in 2022 following a refurbishment completed under previous ownership that is said to have included a repaint in orange, an interior refresh, installation of a replacement wiring harness, and suspension and brake work. The truck is powered by a 225ci Dauntless V6 mated to a three-speed manual transmission linked with a dual-range transfer and a Warn overdrive unit. Additional equipment includes a BesTop brown soft top with integrated doors and plastic windows as well as a front-mounted Warn winch, Warn manually locking front hubs, 15″ steel wheels, a roll bar, and a Holley carburetor.”
Listed as a 1965, this has the WILLYS stamps, which suggest it may have been produced in 1962 or earlier. That said, this has a bunch of mods, so maybe the tailgate and hood are from a different jeep.

“1965 CJ3B Willys jeep, 350 chevy, 350 trans. Pwr disc brakes, Pwr steering, tilt steering wheel, headers, dual exhaust, dual gas tanks, rebuilt front end”
Bill shared this post. The seller describes it as a 1943 MB with a GPW engine, but the bumper, the took box lids, and the front crossmember all suggest this is a GPW. Maybe the new data tags identify this incorrectly as an MB??

“Not the prettiest girl at prom, but runs great and body is straight. Has a few mods: electronic ignition, new plugs, wires, water pump, hoses, and valve adjustment. Two fuel tanks with separate filters and pumps for each. Runs great, have extra set of wheels for fatter off-road tires. Used mainly as an around town runner lately, and for “farm work” (dragging and grading the yard mainly). Willing to consider trades toward rv/toy hauler/concrete work/ paramotor lessons and equipment/etc.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(02/13/2023) David spotted this unusual combo. It’s a Mighty Mite body on what’s supposed to be an MB (or GPW) chassis.

“1942 WW II Willy Jeep left in Hawaii after the war. Body replaced with aluminum body Jeep style. Small block chevy 4 wheel drive, current license.
As Is $3,750.00”
No updates today. I got too busy yesterday with the race jeep. Sway bar is done. The gas tank frame and battery box frame will be done by end of day today. After that, on to the floor and cowl.
Also, last night, we agreed to get a pair of kittens from a friend who fosters cats. We will pick them up after they are spayed next week. Hopefully, that helps Lizzy, as she is still dragging around Tom’s toy and looking for him.
Steve let me know this video of the 2022 Summer Convention had been published.
After our wayward trip to Phoenix, I’m back in the shop making progress on the racer. The rear sway bar has been added and some rear bump stops should be done soon (once I get some more welding rod). That will complete the rear suspension repairs/mods.
Once I finish the mount for the gas tank and battery, the rear area will be complete. Then comes the floors and cowl area, after which is the seats, the wiring (most of it just needs to be re-run), and, finally, mounting, prepping and painting the body. May 1 is still the goal.
Here’s another Fresno jeep with a Muller top.

“Buick 225cid V6
Saginaw 4 speed transmission
Warn overdrive and hubs
Seats were out of an old Alph Romeo
Tilt steering
No top, but the frame for the top is there.
Extra hood that is in better shape than the one that is currently on the Jeep.
This was last driven over 20 years ago. It was running fine when it was last parked.
As it’s been sitting so long, it will obviously need to be gone through as far as brakes, fuel lines and tank, etc.
It been keep in garage for all this time.
Tires are cracking and would need to be replaced.
Selling to raise some funds for my folks’ medical bills.
I’m hearing a wide range of what this is possibly worth, so I’m hesitant to set a price right now and will start by entertaining offers.
I will do my best to answer any questions you may have in a timely manner.
Sale will be cash only and will need to be picked up in Kenmore.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.
Mike shared this column-shift truck with a hefty tow package. Maybe a modified Canfield tow package?
“1947 Willys Jeep Truck 4WD. First year for the Willys Pickup. This is a former service station truck outfitted with a weld built wrecker. Its got a 4 cylinder F134 engine and a 3 speed column shift transmission. This is a four wheel drive model. It runs, drives and stops. It is still 6 volt but starts up without hesitation. Motor runs smoothly and has little use on it since it was rebuilt. New exhaust system was just installed. The wrecker unit was custom made for the truck and is all hand operated. Boom extends out an extra 5ft. Everything works smoothly and is very overbuilt. Airbags in the rear were added to assist with heavy loads. The truck also comes with a snow plow. Overall the rust isn’t bad except for the rockers/steps on the sides of the cab, they have seen better days. Frame is solid. It will need some work before it is ready to go back on the road but it shouldn’t take much. Sold with with a bill of sale only. No title. Asking $4500.”
Listed as a 1954, this CJ-5 is more likely 1958-1962 based on the speedo. It has a Monroe 3pt lift, along with a rear PTO and some equipment.

“2 Jeeps with enough parts to build one with extras. Both have a titles. Full arctic top with original wooden doors, winch, Body on the complete jeep is rough and probably not usable except for parts. It’s still 24 volt and is basically complete as shown. Everything pictured plus tons that has been in dry storage for Atleast 20 years. Included but not pictured is an extra usable long block, several transmissions, several transfer cases, rebuilt front and rear axles, gauges, steering parts, rear seat, pedals, and tons of misc This is all the pictures I have and I will not dig individual parts out of storage to take more. This is a project I will never get to. $1500 for everything must take all.”
