“Rare 1973 Jeep CJ-6, 4WD, RIGHT HAND Drive (the steering wheel is on the right). Custom Roll cage (never used), removable hard top. 273 ci engine needs a little work.
I used to ride this down at Ohio Power with a bunch of FJ-40s and this always held-up to the ‘Jeep Tradition’. Lots of fun to drive for a lefty. Need the space in my barn for other projects and don’t have the time I used to for this. Email if interested.”

“CJ6 tub with front fenders, hood, and tailgate.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8900.
It doesn’t look like it would take a whole lot to bring this back to stock.
“For your consideration is this 1963 Willys Jeep DJ3. Has been completely disassembled, cleaned, painted, rebuilt and restored. Everything is new top side and bottom side. The original 4 cylinder 2.2l engine, 3 speed manual transmission and rear end are still in the Jeep. It runs and drives great!! Plenty of power, smooth thru the gears and a blast to drive. The windshield, tires, interior and paint are all brand new. The suspension has been redone with all new leaf springs, rebuilt brakes and new tires on all four corners. This Jeep is turn key and needs nothing. Just get in, drive and enjoy!!
The paint is smooth and straight with no dents, dings or rust. The interior is brand new with no stains or wear marks. The underside is finished just as nice as the top side. It looks like every item on the car has been rebuilt or replaced.
The serial number is 5633722832, the odometer reads 2,523 but looks like only a few miles since the rebuild, so no guarantees. Please study the pictures and feel free to contact me with any questions or thoughts.”
No updates today, but I did recycle a few old posts below. Ann’s grandfather passed away a couple days ago and his funeral was yesterday (lots of family in town last night). He lived a full life, so more relief than sadness that his suffering is no more.
UPDATE: Hard to believe it has been almost three years since I published this post!
I discovered these directions for the Muller Custom Top in the August 1965 issue of Four Wheeler Magazine that we’ve seen on nicely modified Fresno area Jeeps. I’m considering building one of these for Biscuit and selling my Kayline.
UPDATE: I still haven’t seen one of these for sale, on or off a jeep.
Here’s a rare ad for a Dualmatic Top. I knew they made hubs, but didn’t know they made tops.
UPDATE: Not many of these winches around.
While going through some old Four Wheeler Magazines, I came across two different ads for a McCain Hub Winch. As best as I can tell, you attach it to the front hub, wind a cable or rope around it, and then start the front wheels turning, which would pull the jeep forward. Also, the February 1969 issue of Four Wheeler Magazine has an article about the winch, but the seller wants $25 for it. I’ll wait until the price drops.
This first pic is an ad for the winch:
This second pic shows an ad for Chachua’s Four Wheel Drive Center. If you see #2, you can read about the hubs:
UPDATE: Still Available.

May be worth a look.
“This is a fairly stock jeep . Some changes were made to the charging system and lights. I have most of the original items that were removed . Data plates are still on it . This jeep has no rust .This jeep is registered and drives fine . Would be perfect for a full military restoration or to just cruise town .It also has a roll bar and tow bar .”

The jeep has been sitting a while.
” have a1946 cj-2a jeep , I am the second owner of the jeep. I have a clear North Carolina title. The body is in good to fair condition with rust under the tub. I recovered all three seats and painted it 4 years ago. The motor runs great . It will need to have the breaks gone thru tho. I replaced the master cylinder but did not go through the drums or replace the lines. The plan was to restore the jeep but to many projects and no room for it now. Will consider trade on a 1. 6 motor or diesel air compressior. I have added more pictures to give a better look at the entire jeep. As you will see the tube has rust but considering it is a 1946 it ant that bad. The vin# is 75602 . I have not tried to get it running. It has been setting in my shop for the last four years. Again I will consider trade. The jeep is not running and has not been cranked in at least 5 years . Also I have four original wheels that go with the jeep.”
Creative way to solve the photo download issue.
“Pictures tell the story. 1948 willys, used to be a plow truck so the body’s rough but the engine well cared for. Lots of new and extra parts on / with it. Call for text Dan most anytime of the day for any and all questions. Come on down and take it for a spin your self. Bought as salvage from an old farmer so we have no title. Couldn’t get the pictures off my phone so if a clearer picture is needed just ask.
NOTE: as an MN plow truck it has a strong heater, tall tires, and a removable homemade cad unlike most for sale.
New, muffler, starter, battery, spring stacks, four box new shocks to be put on. Resent work, rewired electricals, reset timing, transmission fluid and caps replaced, points reset, homemade removable cad. Includes everything jeep related (anything I may have forgotten to list).”
No drivetrain.
“1953 Willys Wagon Panel, ambulance back doors.
No motor or trans
Needs total restoration”
