“For Sale is a 1953 Willy’s CJ-3B. I have had the vehicle for many years with the intention of restoring it. The Jeep is titled in NC and runs good. This was a project vehicle and I have well over $4200.00 invested. The Jeep has new wiring, tires, pressure plate, clutch, shocks, brakes, master cylinder and lines, gas tank, drive shafts, yokes, seals, gauges, tail lights and much more. The body is in good condition for the age with some areas of rust. The manual lockout 4WD is absolutely awesome. The engine is very strong.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
Looks like a good price.
“for sale is an all original, no rust, no restoration 1953 m38a1. This is the C model that was built for the large recoiless gun. Has slotted windshield and heavy suspension. Started out as civil defense jeep for Clinton, IA. ended up being stored for years in basement of Savanna Army Hospital. It is street legal with new front leaf springs, brakes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and new tires. It also has a 6′ western plow with it. The mounting hardware for the plow is made so that it bolts to the jeep using existing threaded holes in the frame, as not to alter the frame in any way.”
May be a good price.
“1946 cj2a. Original top. Runs and can drive in 2nd and 3rd. 1st and reverse stopped working last winter. Includes original bill of sale and manual.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
For the price, it may be worth a look.
“Runs, matching numbers, needs a little TLC but well worth the investment. An additional 4 new wheels included.”
This might be a Tender, but it is more likely a modified wagon. It looks like it’s been cut at the very back.

“hi – i have had this heavy duty radiator in my shed for a few years now and would like to sell it if theres anybody local enough that can pick it up in person.
thats why i priced it cheap at 100 bucks as i dont want to ship it at this point. its heavy. i had purchased this fc170 radiator from a forward control specialist in phoenix arizona who had it re-done previously for his v8 powered project and then used it for a while and then sold it to me when i needed it for my project.
think i paid 250 or 300 bucks for it — it is a 3 or a 4 row and fits the fc-170 trucks only i believe.
you can see on fan side of core where there was a small repair done where his electric fan rubbed a hole into it but was fixed and was supposed to be ready to use.
anyways , looking for 100 bucks and please come pick it up , also have a couple seats from another fc-170 truck that you can have for free. just come and get them – might fit fc150 too. ”

I’m taking the remainder of the weekend off. Look for updates Monday morning.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $150.
“For sale is a vintage PTO1 Ramsey winch. According to my dad, it originally came off a 1951 CJ3A. He later installed it on his 1970 CJ5, perhaps with slight modification. It was working when removed over 30 years ago. Has been stored in the barn ever since, but we were just doing some cleaning and decided it’s doing no go to anyone there. It is being sold untested. Seems to be complete except we can’t find the one shift handle. I really don’t know much else about it, so I’m assuming and hoping that you do if you’re looking at it.
If you aren’t a buyer but think you know something worth sharing with me about this winch, it would be kind of you to do so. This includes the value, because we’re not too sure what it’s really worth to anyone.
Asking $150 or best offer. Keep in mind that “or best offer” could possibly mean either a smaller or a higher figure than the asking price!”
UPDATE: Was $2000. **SOLD**

(05/27/2015) I see nothing to indicate this is a 1945.
“I hate to let my jeep go but we just had another baby and I need to free up room in the garage and my wife won’t let me put a car seat in it. ha
Its a 1945 Jeep Willys. It has the factory Go Devil Engine and 3 speed.
It runs great and fires up the first time every time.
I have put a lot of work and money into it mechanically.
All the work was done at C&Ds Performance here in Mansfield.
UPDATE: Still available.
(05/29/2015) Looks rough.

<– Day 52 – Tue. Jun. 2nd: Navigating the Book Cliffs | TRIP OVERVIEW –>
We spent Wednesday with my kids to celebrate my upcoming 50th birthday June 5th.
Like all good things, this amazing Texas tour had to come to an end. So, thursday morning we left Salt Lake at 2:30am. In a funny coincidence, while driving through Boise at 7am, my cousin passed us on I-84 on his way to work. Ann was driving at the time, while I was napping, when he sped quickly by us. He recognized us as he passed, so he sent me a text, telling us ‘good morning’ and apologizing that he was ‘late for work’. Then off he went.
Small world.
We arrived in Pasco six hours later, ending our54-day trip after 10,113 miles of driving. Thanks to everyone who made it a fun, interesting, education, and entertaining time!
Friday is my 50th birthday. I’ve got posts scheduled for the next couple days, so I’ll be able to take some time off and get a massage :-). That’s a good way to start the second half of my century.
