It hasn’t been started in a couple years.
“46 willys jeep …running condition..haven’t started it in two years..could use a good home ..is definatley restorable or something to cruise around in..4700.00..or best offer”
Listed as a 1953, it’s more like a rough MB.
“1953 Willy’s Army Jeep with the original 1953 Willy’s engine, VIN#426445. unknown miles. $4,495or best offer. I’ve replaced the brake lines, wheel cynlinders and brakes, clutch and pressure plate, the ring gear on the fly wheel and the starter. It ran fine the last time I used it which was several years back. I’m selling it as is. These jeeps have a lot of potential and you could easily make it into a $15,000 jeep. There’s an army serial number on the right front hood that’s hard to read after 62 years. The numbers on the hood are original and as far as we can tell they are _0_08659. ”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(05/30/2015) Looks like a good build.

“I got a willys Really don’t no much about it. It needs a new master cylinder. It has no brakes. Runs and drives. Needs some body work.”

I think this might have been a DJ-5 at one point.
“Chrysler Automatic Transmission rebuilt, Rambler 6 cylinder engine. Needs steering gear box.”
Ready for a parade. Not an original restoration.
“CJ Military Style Jeep Complete Restoration from the ground up. Original 4 Cylinder Engine with 43,000 Miles on it. New canvas made top $14,000.”

Runs, but may not be road worthy.
“I am selling my 1946 Willy’s jeep. It is in running condition and the 4×4 works. It’s not pretty but it does run and has been a great deer lease ride for years.”

Could be some value here given the hardtop.

I forgot to share a photo of my 50th birthday cake. Ann declared me ‘older than dirt’ and included some jeeps on it.
Marc spotted this great photo of an amphibious jeep.
“Amphibious Jeep – 41st – Italy – 3″ X 4 1/2″ – 1945 Original Photo
Size: Approximately 3″ X 4 1/2 ‘” Original Photo
This picture is from a group of pictures that where taken in Gioia, Italy in 1945″
This was the first jeep train to go over a repaired bridge at Ledan Chaung. I suspect the first time over was nerve racking!
“Up for sale is an antique photograph featuring an army jeep on the Burma Railway. Condition is excellent overall; see photos for details.
The photo measures 5 inches by 4 inches.
Check out my store for many other great photographs!”
Not perfect, but a fair price for what’s there. No description.
The roll bar is funky, but the jeep looks pretty good.
“Clean and runs great, but in need of a new home. This jeep is all original, except for the added roll bar (bolts on and off) and that I converted it to 12 volts. Willys Go Devil flat head 4 cylinder engine starts easily and runs great. I have had this jeep for over 27 years and treated it well.
This is a great collectors jeep that just needs a little superficial TLC”
Appears worth a look.
“Runs, Drives & Stops, even the E-brake works. Frame is in good shape, the body not so good especially the floors, seat covers are shot. Motor runs great, replaced timing chain and gears and exhaust manifold a few years back, all gauges work though speedo bounces. Transmission and transfer case work as they should. No cracks in windshield. Comes with extra 16″ rims.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.
Obviously, this is not all original. It’s even got the wrong windshield. But, it runs and drives.
“1951 all original 2a Willis jeep new are you joints/4 inch lift Leaf springs motor tuneup runs daily driver call or text for more info”
Looks ready for the road, but it is also a good example of how the investment of time and money doesn’t always equal the market value.
“I had this jeep completely restored and absolutely love it. Unfortunately, I need to sell to get a work truck. I would consider trading for a 4×4 diesel or gas crew cab flatbed dually; or just a good newer 2500 4×4.
Please do not waste my time with random offers and just plan junk. I have 33k invested in this jeep with supporting documentation.”
Still some work left before this is road worthy. The driver’s side has had body work done.
“I have a 1958 Jeep Willys. My brother in law took it apart to do a full resto and he have fallen to some hard times with his health. Its a restored roller. He has all the parts for the engine, transmission and wiring harness. Needs to be put back together, and break lines. Clean title on hand. Hes asking $4500.00 OBO.”
No pics provided.
“Popular vehicle during WWII
