“I have up for sale my 1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A. I love this car but I was thinking about letting her go. I’ve put a TON of work into this beauty. It has rust but it just makes it look beautiful! You could do the bodywork, or just drive her as she is! I have rebuilt the Carter carburetor, converted to 12v, resurfaced the gas tank, new tune up parts including a new distributor, put brand new 16r 32 BF Goodrich tires on all around, new rear brake shoes, new grey canvas seats, and also a conversion to a 1 wire alternator.

The windshield has some interesting brace additions.

I’m looking to trade someone my model 40 twin stick pto made for wagons and trucks for a model 58 twin stick made for cjs. I’d also be willing to sell the unit as well.
The model 40 is in great shape and both levers shift as they should.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000. Factory or motor pool or back yard extended pentagon / metro engineering hardtop?
Mark just listed this M-170 at warjeeps.com.
“Very good shape. 32,000 miles. Needs brakes installed, fuel tank installed, alternator, and carb kit installed. Runs great. Comes with hardtop and doors. I’m moving and don’t want to pay to take it with me. No seats, clear title”
It’s a mix of parts.
“This Willys is a true survivor. The id number is a MB number, but is considered a 1947 by the DMV. The tub is a MB. The jeep was modified for a film to look like a M38. The driver side has been smoothed over with bondo at some point, but the ribs for the tools can be seen on the inside.
The window is post war as well as the M38 grille. The jeep will need to be seen.
It needs tlc for sure but is a driver.
I have the window rubber, just no glass.
The engine is what I can best figure is a 1953 F-Head Hurricane engine. It has the generator, but is wound to a 12v system.
It has Model A tail lights.
The tires are new as of July 22nd. I also had Willys hand painted on the rear tailgate, as well as a personal tribute to a fallen family member, as well as a WWII Kilroy was here.
I am also having the rims painted green this week.
I am fixing it up as I keep driving it. If it doesn’t sell for my price, I will be fixing it up and keeping it.
The footlocker doesn’t go with the jeep.”
This appears to be another Tender Truck. This is one I need to go see and document.
“Willys pickup and wagon for parts. No title for either one. Make offer.”
