UPDATE: **SOLD** WAs $3600.
It is powered by a Flathead V8, but needs work. MIght make an interesting project.
“Pulled this sweet little wagon out of the weeds and the darn thing runs. It has a flat head v8, it holds water and idles good. We changed the cap/rotor and plugs and wires. We put some different wheels on it because the others were roached. Pretty solid little wagon. Tail gate is a struggle to get shut. We were just shifting it using a wrench but have a shifter that will be in it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800
Could be a good buy, but bring a 6 volt batter with you to test the engine.
“This is one of several vehicles I am getting rid of. Too old and too tired to tackle all the projects I have and the better half is adamant I thin the herd. 1948 model CJ2A with a soft top. It’s all there and it runs fine. It is still 6v but needs a battery (I have the one that was in it when I parked it but it has gone dead since). Some idiot welded a small diameter 70’s steering wheel to the steering shaft, but I have an original wheel and shaft to replace it.
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $2200.
Just the body and hardtop only.
“1956 – 1975 Jeep CJ6 “parts only”: body/tub, transmission cross member, grill, tailgate, metal hardtop w/ matching metal doors (Meyers/ACME brand). Overall in very good condition. All items same as pictured. $2,200″
UPDATE:Price dropped to $2250.
“For sale is a very complete and very restoreable 48 cj2a. I bought this as a project to hopefully do with some local youngsters as their first project, but it seems that interests have changed and they are not interested in it any more . . . This jeep is a fantastic restoration candidate because of how complete it is. Original engine and running gear, and many of the parts that are usually gone are still here. Engine does not run. PO removed the head and reported a stuck valve . . . so I would count on doing some engine work . . . it does turn over freely, so I would guess just minor work needed. Transmission and transfer case shift fine. It was “barn kept” for many many years and, although there is rust thru in the usual spots, it is much, much better then most I have seen and at a much better starting point then the one I restored . . . . if you are looking for an early jeep project, then this is definitely one to look at . . . . I am not interested in low ballers or scams, I know that I can easily net my asking price by parting it out, and am perfectly willing and able to do that . . . but if someone whats to take it all at once to fix it up, then that’s my preference!!”

“46 willys jeep. original motor does not run, but I have a running MUTT motor I was going to put in it for a deer lease vehicle. Also have some odd and ends parts to go with it. The original flat head four banger goes with it to. The windshield is off of a cj3a. The 46 is a cj2a..”

This was for sale back in 2014.
“This is a original Willy’s Jeep turned into a veep. Runs like a dream, and only minor dents for the body being as old as it is. When I say it’s a Veep I mean that it is the style of the Veep kits they made in the 70’s but instead of the plastic body, this is a real ’47 Jeep. I wish I could keep it but I’m a college kid who needs money to pay for school/rent so I’m open to offers. Text is preferred.”

“For sale is a 1948 Willys CJ-2A jeep. It is not running and missing some parts. This would be a perfect parts donor for someone who is restoring a CJ-2A. The engine, transmission, and both axles are there but I have no idea of their condition. It does have four 16-inch wheels with decent military tires one of which is currently flat. $600 as-is and I’ll help you load it.”
It’s a rolling chassis.
“1944 Willys MB Jeep for parts or restoration. No motor or transmission. Missing lots of parts. All that is there is what is pictured.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,000.
(04/25/2015) Can you blame the seller for pricing it at a value that someone appraised it at? Hard to figure out how an appraiser could have arrived at such a price.
