Looks good.
“Restored jeep cj6 258 3 speed runs great low miles ready to drive tires are like new no leaks have doors and another top”
Some pics show windshield lettering and other don’t. I don’t know which are most recent.
“This is a 1944 GPW Ford made WW2 Jeep with title. I fully rebuilt this jeep less than 3 years ago with a frame off restoration. The engine, clutch and transmission have been professionally rebuilt. I have over 400 documented hours into the restoration, and I’ve spent much more than the asking price. its had only 700 trouble free miles since its overhaul.
This restoration uses the original tub, frame, parts and sheet metal. Reproduction parts have been kept to a minimum. It has an original Ford WW2 engine but not numbers matching.
The good: runs and drives great, is restored, new everything from the wiring harness to brakes to drivetrain to the tires.
The not so good: leak between tcase and trans. Not an original WW2 carb, horn, or speedo gauge (these are incredibly rare and would add a lot of $$ to the price). Converted to 12 volt for simplicity. I did a disk brake conversion. Would give you the parts to restore it to original if desired.
Price does not include the replica .30 cal machine gun and pintle mount. These are cheap if you must have one. Canvas top, ax and shovel are not original or included.
reason for selling: I’m restoring a WC dodge and the wife says I have too many projects around. She wants the place picked up. Price is firm but If we must negotiate I could keep the original tandem tow bar or other things and save you money.
NO CL flakes, low baller flippers or tire kickers pls. I don’t have to sell this. These antiques will go crazy with value in the future and are a great investment.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $6000.
(04/18/2015) Appears in good shape.

Ran before I removed the gas tank, tank is very funky. New front hub locks. No miles on brakes or hubs. Non op pink slip. Got it to restore, but beyond my skills.”
Ann photographed these two jeeps on I-80 as she drove west. She finally comes home today after being gone a month. Yeah! (Sorry about the smashed bugs obscuring the view)
This has the short nose, so it’s most likely a pre-1972. It’s an odd one!
“The car is a clean example of a self assembled woody wagon. this is a one of a kind model .I am not the original owner , it was purchased in 2013 in Pembervlle Ohio. The body work was done by a retired highway patrol officer. that had a lot of time on his hands. I would like any interested buyer to inspect the vehicle before purchase”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3800
(10/05/2015) Looks in good shape.
“This 1947 Willys Jeep has the original “Go Devil” engine and transmission (135 HP/4 cyl). Original seats with lap seat belts added for safety. It runs great, is in great shape and is fun to drive especially in off- road conditions (top speed is about 45mph). The Willys Jeep was originally designed for and used by the US Military and was later sold for farm and civilian use. This would be a fun rig to restore or leave as is. ”
Matt’s got this M-38A1 for sale. Contact him at mattymajors@hotmail.com or 806-340-5594

This was a civil defense jeep.

“This is a true army jeep that was manufactured by Ford Motor Company under license from Willys in 1944. It is a GPW, however the original motor and transmission have been replaced with parts from a CJ-2A. It has various additions, cuts and scrapes, and prior owner adaptations, but it is a pretty straight jeep with all the components in tact.”
UPDATE: Still Available
(06/17/2014) Looks like a solid jeep.
“We are moving out-of-state and, sadly, can’t take my pride and joy with me; had so many dreams to restore this awesome 1948 Willys CJ2A. The engine is in very good condition and runs well! The body is in good shape with a brand new set of five tires. There is a black soft top (shown), a bikini top, doors and roll-bar included. I tried to get as good of pics as I could, but you really need to come see this old mountain goat to appreciate it. It will need a little bodywork and paint to make it cherry. But, if you need it to get around in the mountains, or woods, then just add a wench and you’re ready to go! This is priced right for a great restoration project also; don’t miss out on this beauty. I have clear title.
My price of $5,000 is a no-haggle, bottom dollar price, and I will not accept less. So, no need to ask. 🙂“
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $7500.
A funky front bumper, but looks solid overall.
