“Up for your consideration is my 1952 Willys M38A-1, the military jeep that inspired the civilian CJ5. I purchased this jeep in the high desert in Southern California in 2011 and had it shipped to NJ when I moved to the east coast in 2013. Aside from the military I am the third owner since the jeep sold at government auction in 1971.
The original drivetrain is still 100% operational. Engine and transmission were rebuilt in 1956 while in the service in Japan, drivetrain still has military rebuild tags with information.  Continue reading →

“This is a 1951 Willys Overland Jeepster. I bought it to turn into a hot rod, but ran into another that was partially built, so this one became a parts rig. It has no floor and no steering column. I have most of the trim for this as well as the windshield, seats (most) and the top. These are known for their very solid frames which have a LARGE X brace in the middle, so you can add your horsepower with little worry. For an extra $300 I’ll throw in an AMC Pacer front suspension I was gong to install. It’s a nearly perfect fit and gives you independent front suspension, power rack and pinion steering and disc brakes, much better than the original transverse left spring setup. The only thing I’ll need to keep for my own project is the back seat frame. I have another, but this one is nicer. Good Ohio title in hand.”

Fatman Coil over front suspension, Mustang ll power rack and pinion, Stock Rear end with air shocks, SSBC disc brakes on all 4 wheels by echelon with Bridgestone Tires. Alum. Fuel Cell with Holley Electric pump and Braided Steel Lines. Custom Flat bed lined with Kiln Dried Hickory and Hickory side rails. The interior is Lumina bucket seats, custom dash with VDO gauges, Mercedes Carpeting, Custom Door panels with Willus Logo covered in Leather. Power windows, Power door locks, Hurst shifter, Full headliner and back wrap, IDIDIT tilt column, painless wiring harness and Fuse box. The Engine is a 1993 Chevy 454, Fabricated valve covers, Edelbrock Chrome Manifold with Inglese adaptor and Weber sidedraft (2) carburetors, complete MSWD ignition system (6AL), Chrome headers, High flow water pump, billet aluminum brackets. “This is a 1959 Willys pickup that has the power plant form a mid seventies Chevy truck. 350 V8/transmission/xfer case. It is a perfect candidate for restoration/re-power. The body has some rust, but I have used this to haul wood, etc. The truck bed is lined with diamond plate steel. Engine runs great. Have new upholstery for it, but have not installed it yet. 12V system, with alternator, Chevy steering box/column, with power steering. New window felt on doors, new glass on passenger door.”

“I have for sale a 1948 willys overland jeep cj-2a. It is mostly orginal and has rare optional pto and hyd lift. The hyd pump, lines, hyd tank, and selector valves are intact. However the lift it’s self is missing. The pto box is still on the back and the pto adapter is still on the trans. But the drive shaft has been removed to make room for the exhaust pipe. The engine is stuck from sitting. The body is rusty. There is no title. Iam selling as is with no warrenty. ”
