“Very nice 1952 Willy’s Overland Jeep CJ3A, to look like a Military Jeep. Original 4 Cylinder Flat Head engine that runs well. The jeep has good brakes, and drives straight down the road, with no play in the wheel. It has 2 sets of tires, both Military for slow driving, and Radial Tires for high speed towing. The vehicle comes with Tow Bar, that attaches to front of bumper. The jeep has NO RUST, and that includes the Body, Floor Pans, and all areas of the jeep. This is a Turn Key jeep, and can be driven home, or anywhere it needs to go. It is great in Parades, and in the Woods, where no other vehicle can go. This is a Fun jeep, and needs nothing in way of repairs. I am negotiable on the price. Call”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $12,000.
Still some work left on this one.
“I have a 1955 Willys pickup with the 226 six cylinder that I’m getting close to completing and will be selling it. I striped the truck down to the frame and cleaned up all the dirt and grim and painted frame and undercarriage. The motor was completely overhauled all new parts from top to bottom. The rebuild was completed by Forbes Rebuilders in Ft Worth. I have converted the electrical to 12 volts and all wiring has been replaced. The master cylinder, all wheel cylinders and break shoes are new and work well. I have installed a new fuel tank, fuel pump, water pump, radiator and clutch linkage and had the starter and carburetor rebuilt. All the door and window rubber has been replaced. I have the seat replaced with a 2007 Durango 3rd roll seat. The door panels and head liner need restored or replaced. The truck is painted white plan on repainting it when I have everything finished. If you are looking for daiiy driver this is not the truck for you. It’s great for 4 wheeling or exploring the deer lease. The truck is tagged and I have title in hand.
If you do your homework and check the cost of restoring one of these old trucks you will find it is a costly project. Let me know if you have any interest. Truck is in Keller Tx.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000

Seller still has the 13″ rims. It used to be an airport jeep. Frame number matches the serial number plate.
“”This is a rare 2wd model of Willys Jeep. Its sometimes called the “Dispatcher” model. The manufacturing info for all DJ3A’s made in 1961 was only 1542 units. This particular vehicle was in use at the Denver Stapleton Airport. It has the correct flat-head 4-cylinder engine which will turn over, so its not seized up. This Willys needs someone looking to do a restoration job or someone just wanting a “toy” to fix up. I do not have a title since the person I bought it from bought it at an airport auction, since the Jeep was only driven at the airport, there was never any need for titles, registrations, or inspections. I had performed by the Vehicle Theft Task Force in Smith County showing that the vehicle ID/VIN came back clear. Jeep has brand new 2 month old cooper tires and American racing wheels. originals come with purchase”

“1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A. It can be a project or just something to run around your yard and plow. The tub is original and a little rough. Original engine and drivetrain – rebuilt. Runs and drives well. Comes with a plow that has a hydraulic pump run from a front engine pto that functions as it should. No windshield. Just replaced the gauges, rewired the lights and had the seats recovered. ”

John forwarded this article from Hemmings on the Ford T-8 Gun Motor Carriage and its various derivatives. It was a jeep-like vehicle for transporting the M3 37mm anti-tank gun.

Scott’s wagon was painted green last year so that it could appear as a mail jeep for the period movie Carol.
Glenn spotted this one.

UPDATE: Listed as a tug, this is more likely a modified CJ-5.
“Possibly one of the rarest Jeep CJ5 of the 70s
Although I have slightly modified the seat and put a different set of wheels I have not seen another one like it.
A total blast to drive! This Jeep was born as an airport tug or as a special vehicle that was used to pull and park airplanes in the 70s
This belonged to a small airport for commercial flights around the Inland Empire county
This is the only one known to make it out of there alive
I believe the airport commissioned Jeep to make 4 Jeep TUGS to be built
3 of them were dismantlement once the airport was closed down.

John shared this article. Daniel Stohl from Hemmings reported on Fiat-Chrysler’s 75th anniversary photo shoots, noting that many jeep folks (like me) would consider this the 76th year of the jeep. But, that detail aside, there were some beautiful pics taken. Check some of them out at Hemmings:
Seth spotted the patch below for sale on eBay. The Flatlanders 4-Wheelers club was incorporated February 11, 1976, in Amherst, Ohio. The patch was likely part of an estate sale, based on the seller’s comments on eBay.
“Large 8 x 5.5” (meant for the back of a jacket), 1970’s “Flat Landers 4 Wheelers” Jeep Club Patch.
Has to be sewn on, I didn’t know how to sew, I just kept it, HARD TO FIND!
Was kept in a drawer many years, looks JUST LIKE NEW!”
