“This is an 1946 Willy’s M2A2 Army Jeep that has been restored. My wife and I picked this up a couple of years ago just to have something fun to ride in the summer. Unfortunately, my wife recently deceased and I have lost my interest and desire to keep it. It has a 350 small block, 4 barrell edelbrock, msr ignition, removable steering wheel, race seats with harnesses, full roll bar system, everything is modern (12V). The jeep has both low and an overdrive for the highway and has the original spicer gears for working the low end. 12 gears in all. Powerful and fun to drive! This jeep would not be difficult at all to return to its original configuration if you really like the antique willys.”
Hard to see much detail.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.
“I have a 1948 Willy’s CJ2A for sale. It’s all original except for the new fuel tank. Has the Willy’s Go Devil engine and 3 speed tranny with hi/low. Also has transfer case for 2 or 4 wheel. Jeep runs and drives great, just had all fluids changed. Body is a little rough, but salvageable with some metal work. Its a fun toy to have and hard to find one that runs and drives. Tires are almost new, Windshield is broke. Calling is the best, but I do text. Don’t have a title for it but I do have all the documentation to get one. Working on getting one myself, but haven’t had the time yet.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3200.
“S/N 62215. 36,412 miles. Owned since 2005. Windshield is the split type common to the CJ2A. I relocated the spare tire mount to the side, also common to the CJ2A so the tailgate would be more functional. Started the restoration 3 years ago. Stripped it down to the frame, sandblasted, primed and painted it the original olive drab. Everything relative to the brake system is new. Everything relative to both axles was removed, restored or replaced with new parts. New shocks. When I took it off, if it needed replaced I ordered it then, so I have most everything already bought. This is not a rust bucket like most you see! A little rust in the bed and the drivers floorboard is all there is and the metal is solid underneath. Upholstery is in very good shape. I have a summer top not shown. The paint is actually very good. You can see in the pictures that I polished the hood and the color came out. Further painting would be optional. The engine has been disassembled and the head and block tested. Found 4 broke rings. Everything relative to the engine is perfect, even the bearings. Standard rings will go back. Tranny/transfer case have no issues either. I have taken it as far as I can. I need the space in my garage so it has to go. This is a solid Willys and will make someone a fine jeep.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
Looks like there’s value here.

“1945 Willys MB Jeep, Military Restoration Project
Well folks….there’s no sugar coating this one….its a late model 1945 Willys MB! This Jeep was produced just a few weeks prior to the end of the war contract of the Willys MB military Jeep in 1945 (Data tag dated 8/8/45). The last military MB rolled off the assembly line in early September of ’45. (I also have the original data plate and the i.d. tag is still in place on the left front frame horn).
The floors will need to be replaced as they are rusted through in several areas. I do have the original grill and hood (in excellent primered condition, the right (NOS)and left front fenders, and numerous other parts that are not pictured.
I have the heavier replacement front bumper along with the rear cross member if needed. The numbers matching engine ran when this first came home (this has been sitting in my garage for the past 7 years), however, it has a very slight crack in the water-jacket from someone who did not properly winterize it.
