Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It is a roller on stock wheels with bald tires.

“I have a beautiful 51 Willys Overland 4×4 Pickup. Registered as a 51 Willys, but built on a Ford Brinco II chassis. Has a fresh 351 W, C-6 auto trans w/ overdrive, Ford 9″ rear end. Pics don’t do it any justice. Tinted windows, electric cut-out exhaust, new 33″ MT tires. Make an offer or trade for another toy. Looking for a Wakeboard boat, muscle cars, sports cars , or??? “I have for sale a military 1949 jeep Willys. It’s all original, was running and driving about a year ago.(it just sits now) me and my boss had plans to restore it, but business comes first and have no time for it now. Obviously it needs a little attention for someone wanting it 100% restored.
There isn’t much rust on this jeep, most of it is surface rust. It just needs to be sandblasted and painted.”

Transfer case was just rebuilt. Has new drag link. New U-Joints. Have new headlight bezels. Jeep needs trans and rear end rebuilt and brakes gone through. Parts are pretty cheap for this and you can find just about anything you need on the internet. Needs paint and body and will make the perfect hunting jeep or cruiser.”
