Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Restored 1947 CJ2a and 1947 trailer (extra tail light was added for safety) . Jeep engine, transmission and driveline gone through and refurbished as needed.
All new: breaks, break lines, master cylinder, fuel lines, fuel sending unit, gas tank, wiring, steel wheels (except spare) directionals and all 5 tires. Trailer frame was wire brushed and painted with POR 15 and top coated, new wiring, lights, safety chains, steel wheels and new tires.
Not a trailer queen, but a nice clean, well running jeep. original wiper even works! Calls only please”

The bright green one is a 1973 will sell it for 3500. The one with white wheels is a 1954 will sell for 2000. All of them start right up and drive good. “For sale 1946 CJ2A Willys. Lock rite lockers front and rear, 4 wheel disks, full cage. Power steering, hanging dual,master cylinder . Complete vehicle, not running, partially disassembled to put newer engine in, which I was told has under 5000 miles. Old 34″ swampers, have cracking, but ok for off road. good windsheild frame, tub has lots of bondo, frame is patched and rough. Front frame horns are a mess, need to be replaced. Has good bestop soft top. Had potential to be a sweet wheeler.”

(07/03/2015) Maybe worth a look? Dash might be funky, as the part surrounding the gauges is a different color.
“1954 Jeep CJ-3B. Excellent running condition. Recently rebuilt transfer case. Less than 7,000 miles on rebuilt engine. Comes with two tops; white vinyl soft top and black bikini top. Tires in excellent condition.”

“Running, current registration, 250 cu in Chevrolet 6 motor. Original 3 speed trans and drive train. Locking hubs. 6:50 X 16 MS front tires in good condition, rear MS tires are new (not shown in photos). Need to be restored, far from perfect condition. The motor is old, but runs smooth and quiet. This is a cash sale and I have a clean title. This is a fair price and a firm one. ”
