Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Anyone interested in a running 1961 Willy’s pickup? Swapped the original dizzy for and electronic setup. Runs, but has no exhaust, or brakes. I do however have all the wheel cylinders and master for it. Comes with extra wheels and tires. Plow setup works off of hydro tank in engine bay. New plugs and wires, have oil and filter for it. Super Hurricane inline 6. As You can see it is in rough, but usable condition.”

“Moving to my sailboat and I simply have too many projects. I do not have a title but you should be able to get a bonded title. It has the serial number plates on it. It has the cj3 bigger engine in it. It currently does not run. You’re going to have to put the head back on it. New starter, new radiator, new tires and wheels.”

“Just picked up this 3a Jeep. Farm fresh. Have v6 daughtless set up. Gearbox is stuck. Not sure on engine. Figured I’d throw it up for sale and see if anyone is interested. Will start parting it out this next week so if someone wants the v6 setup message me. Nice way to get some extra push on a Jeep. No title or tags. Sure we can find a vin somewhere. Bill of sale”

“Needs a good home with someone with the time and knowledge to put her on the road. Everyone wants to know if it runs, it does not. It has a new radiator, new gas tank and steering linkage and steering wheel. As you can see it has a military body, so the body has to be older than ‘48 and a previous owner put a tailgate on it which it wouldn’t have. It does roll.”
