Only one bid on this one so far.
“When i was 14 years old my father bought me my first car this is it. The item your looking at is a 1945 Willy’s MB. it is all original when we got it the guys said it just needed a fuel pump but i never got around to doing that. The only thing i ever did it was paint it green. We sanded down through the hood paint once to find that the original numbers are still there. I wish i could keep it forever but i will be happy to see it go to a good home. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
There’s some parts value here at the very least.
“I have a barn find 1951 Willy’s Jeep. It was my Dad’s. It ran about 3-4 years ago. It does not currently run. I think the fuel system is gummed up. The title says 1968 but I was told that it is a 51 but when it was sold from the military/government it was in 1968 thus the date on the title. With a little TLC I believe this would be a great Jeep. It has been stored inside I just pulled it outside for better pictures.”
Includes single axle trailer for towing the jeep.
“1954 Willys Cj3b. Comes with trailer to haul the Jeep. Runs good. F-head 4cyl engine with original drivetrain. New exhaust, new aftermarket wheels and tires, new front windshield glass, new upholstery on front seats, new aftermarket back seat, seat belts, new gas tank and line, new transmission crossmember and skid plate, new homemade front bumper, rocker guards, rear mount spare tire holder. Also have a brand new Lockrite locker for the rear axle I haven’t gotten around to installing yet. Typical rusted out passenger tool box floor panel, otherwise great shape. Purchased from original owners.”
Looks like a good price.
“Good condition. Lots of work done. Repowered with Buick V6. A great head turner!”

I have had it for a while, and between me and a friend we have completed the mechanical work, now it just needs the wiring harness completed and the body put back together. Tons of new parts, fresh grill, lights, hood, fenders, and more. Brakes, transfer case, and axles were redone and resealed.

(04/04/2016) It’s a project.
“Cj2a with a frame off restoration that is about 90%. Started this project for a buddy and the deal fell through and I’m tired of it taking up room in my shop. Does run and drive. Everything has been gone through except the motor. Front and rear axles have all new bearings and seals same with trans and transfer case. It was tore down to the frame and had the frame sandblasted then coated with por15. Interior has por15 bed liner. Seat frames and fuel tank are both powder coated ad look nice. Have custom made aluminum rocker and corner guards. I do have a original stamped willya hood and windshield for it but do NOT have fenders. Give me a call if interested I’ve done all the work myself and owned it for about 10 yrs.”
The seller indicates this was a Park Avenue tape measure? It’s the first one I’ve ever listed here at eWillys. Must be pretty rare.
“good condition with expected wear”
Education Elements is willing to pay $2500-$3000 for renting a small vintage jeep that is in good looking condition for an event happening in San Antonio October 25-28. Based on my conversation with him a CJ-2A/3A/3B/DJ/or CJ-5 would likely be the best fit.
Education Elements is an education consulting company located in CA that is participating at an event happening in San Antonio TX in October. The company is presenting at 5 sessions and hosting a booth and would like to decorate the booth with an old Jeep (as a symbol of the journey the road trip, the adventure..) The audience of the conference is only educators and district leaders, so no kids to play around 🙂
The car won’t be driven, it will be simply placed indoor at a booth, as decor element. It will be indoor, inside the convention center.
