(06/10/2016) Hasn’t been run in four years. Has a later 2A grille (and even later windshield).
“1946 Willys CJ2A with clear title. Was driven to it’s current location 4 years ago with no brakes. I never got around to bleeding the brakes so now I assume it needs the brake cylinders rebuilt or replaced. It was originally red and then painted green. After that it was rattle canned yellow. The wheels on it are from a CJ5. I have 5 of the original 16″ wheels that have been powder coated silver and tires have never been mounted on them. It has the original Go-Devil motor. It was converted to 12 volt and I never got around to putting it back to 6 volt. It still has the original front hubs and was never converted with lockouts. I have too many projects so this Willys is up for sale. I have a car dolly and I will consider delivery as part of the deal. I will give preference to someone wishing to keep it original and not put in a V8 or other conversion but I understand if someone wants to give it more power.”
Unusual holes in the frame? Body could be worth a the asking price.
“1952 Willy’s body and frame 500. 00 or OBO”

(06/21/2015) “the floors and bracing underneath are redone. the rear axle has been gone through with new bearings. the front steering knuckles have all new bearings and seals. the motor is torn down to block so you can see it isn’t cracked. it needs to be rebuilt and the Trans needs new syncro’s. other than a few ebrake parts it is complete”
I have a habit of infecting family members with the Willys sickness. This causes them to be always on the lookout for jeeps. A few months ago a distant German relative contacted me. Since that time we’ve been sharing bits of family into. I don’t remember mentioning eWillys to him at all, but somehow he knew, because he recently sent this photo while visiting Sulzhayn, Germany. 🙂
I thought this 1964 photo of what appears to be a stock CJ-3A somewhere in southeast Asia with full-floating rear hubs was surprising to see. Is this something that Willys Export offered?
“Vintage photo of A jeep driver looking back towards the group of people,1964.
Size of photo 9,6″x7,1″ inches”
This MB/GPW was reconditioned in California. The main two companies working out of California were Bechtel and Moore, so it was likely one of those two. The jeep has the plate on the dash, but I can’t make it out.
