“1973 Military Land Rover Series III Lightweight Airportable Truck Utility 1/2 Ton 4×4 with FFR 24 Volt Electrical Equipment 28,749 miles Right Hand Drive Excellent Condition with Great Tires. Runs and Drives Great. I have the Airportable Owner’s Manual and Technical Manual with complete diagrams from brand new. Land Rover version of a Willys or Jeep CJ. Just had it professionally detailed. The story of this Land Rover is it spent most of its early life on the island of Cyprus in the Mediterranean. Hence the wonderful condition (NO RUST), unlike many of the same age in England. It was a FFR (fitted for radio) truck on a British Military Base. So the mileage was under 20,000 when brought to the United States.
It was a rare find! Lightweight Modifications: 24 volt Ex-Humvee Warn Winch with OKOR Winchrope, HD aluminum Hawse fairlead and self-locking winch hook. Rplaced stock leaf springs and original shocks with Rocky Mountain parabolic springs, Old Man Emu long-travel shocks, longer military spring shackles, and rear bump stop extensions. The difference is awesome! Old Man Emu Steering stabilizer. Replaced Good Year 31″ Hi-Miler tires on original rims with Dunlop Mud Rover 33×12.50×15 tires on OKOR XD 15″ steel wheels with 3″ backspacing. Gas tank skid plates and steering guard. Diff guards front and rear. Front pinion guard. Custom hidden rock sliders mounted behind checker plate sills. Detroit Locker in the rear with 4.75 gears, and extreme duty heat treated 24 spline axle shaft upgrade. True Trac up front.
Rear mounted spare tire carrier. Full soft-top with rear side windows and Summer bikini top. Defender Mirrors, Superwinch Freewheeling Hubs on rear axles (for flat towing), and Milemarker Selectro hubs on the front. K&N air filter with Defender airbox, with freeflow Turbo muffler and wider than stock tail pipe. Smoke stack snorkel with turbo pre-cleaner. Overdrive from Roverdrive, Aluminum Transfer Case Cover. Spin on K&N Oil filter adapter. Saginaw Power Steering Conversion with Astrali 15″ steering wheel. Wheelbase extended 10″ to 98″ Total, using Range Rover front and rear driveshafts. Spring-over axle conversion with rear traction bar. Flex-ball joints on rear spring perches. 24 Volt Electric fan with aluminum radiator and ram air hood vent. This Land Rover has been to MOAB twice and the Superlift ORV Park in Hot Springs, AR most recently. A Great Off Road Machine.”

“Late 40’s early 50’s willys jeep restoration project.
No title
For sale or Trade
Would consider trade for 4wheeler/UTV/Boat/RV
Make Offer”
Dan spotted this project.
“***MAKE AN OFFER***Up for sale 1954 Willys flat bed truck under construction. Current condition the truck has Dana 44’s under it with high steer kit, new power steering, new power brakes, new hydraulic clutch setup, all new brake lines, new Trxus 35” tires on smoothy rims, running inline 6, t-90 3 speed, dana 18 transfer case and more. Comes with; 2-SM465 4 speeds with super low compound gear, original dana 30(?) front & HD timken rear both with 538 gearing, new cab for parts or to replace the existing cab that has a rusted roof, extra fenders and grill and more. New cab has some issues like rusted floors and lower right cowl. I have the patch panels to fix all rusted areas of new cab.
This truck has the right stance macho without being ridiculously high. The flatbed is bad ass looking.
I have a lot into this truck and I am realistic knowing I will take a loss but please for the sake of fellow jeep and 4x4er’s keep you offer reasonable. Believe me if you buy this truck you will be far ahead of the game than I. I’m just am tapped out of cash and can’t afford to finish it. I marked this as missing title but did a dmv search and no record was found which means all you have to do is apply for a new title. Truck does have a legible vin plate.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
