Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This brochure isn’t one I’ve seen often.
“Brochure. Size is 8.5″ x 5.5″ folded and opens to a nice large 17″ x 11″ to show the views in the listing and more on the back. Condition is Excellent.”
The seller lists this as being a Korean War era photo. Though the jeep appears to be an M-38, I doubt this is from the Korean War. The jeep shown has a license plate on the back.

Fiberglass Body. Could be a Bobcat 3B body. It’s listed as a 1948.
“Willys high hood. Fiberglass tub and hood. Steel fenders, grille, and windshield frame. New gunmetal pearl paint. Buick 231 v6 with edelbrock carb and intake manifold. 3 speed transmission. Warn overdrive. Front disc brakes. Aluminum radiator. New seats. Soft with 1 small tear in back. 33’s with a lot of tread. Overall pretty nice rig but not perfect.”

“1964 Jeep CJ3B ‘High Hood’ – Very Rare. Frame smoothed and boxed. Power steering. Disc brake conversion. Small block Chevy 327. Comp Cam Thumper Series. Roller Rockers, Aluminum Intake, Pete Jackson Gear Drive, Jet Coated Headers and Exhaust. World heads. Four Speed manual transmission, Differentials and Transfer case just rebuilt. Nice cage. Bucket seats. VDO gauges. Dual gas tanks with electric switch. Mag wheels. This Jeep sounds amazing!”

“1942 Ford GPW. New tires, new canvas top and seats. Rebuilt carburetor. 5 combat rims. Original riveted brass data plates – numbers match the frame. This was a running jeep that was cleaned, repaired as necessary, painted, and returned to the original condition when obtained. It has been converted to 12 volts. with an alternator. It is believed that all the parts are original except for the front bumper and horn (try to find a Sparton horn at a decent price!) and of course, the alternator. There are a lot of Ford marked parts – it is assumed that those who did repairs and replacements did not worry about using Ford marked parts in the past.”

Seller has a running CJ-2A (listed as a 1949), a CJ-3a with seized engine, and a 2A tub. Sounds like a good amount of stuff for the money.
“I am selling A good running 1949 CJ2A. I bought this as a fun summer toy to fix up and drive. Unfortunately I no longer have the time to finish the project. I got the little Willy’s running and driving well. Started in on the body work, and that is where it stopped.
What you will get with the 1949.
A second CJ2A tub. It is a little rough, but there is a lot of good metal.
A complete 1949 CJ3A. Very similar. It has the correct factory option for the under dash heater. Also it has a complete running gear (But the motor is seized)
A pair of factory seats (Needs to be recovered) but has the correct springs still in place.
A spare master cylinder New
New Parking Brake shoes

Complete set of soft top bows with door frames
It has installed a complete new exhaust, new aluminum radiator (the old one was rotted out), new fuel pump, new windshield, and a lot of little items.

A wagon with a military theme.
“1951 Willys 4×2 Station Wagon Restored as a Korean War Era Litter Carrier/Ambulance
12 volt, Go Devil Flat head, 3 on the tree, new: shocks, brakes,water pump. Painted as Vintage Ambulance with working overhead spotlight, siren, horn, Military front and rear bumpers, recovery tow rope, twin Jerry cans(display) and mounted on brackets, vintage display fire extinguisher(display) 5 New 6 ply Military ND tires. Has been used for Veterans fund raising events and Funerals. Driven monthly round trip to National Cemetery(50 miles) without a problem ever.Licensed as Washington State Collector Vehicle but could be daily driver with only a license change. Speedo works but not all other gauges, no heater, a few glass cracked here and there but nothing in large panes. Has rear seats and litter stretcher to go with. NO leaks in cases or radiator. (07/21/2016) Runs and drives.
“Flathead 4 cylinder (L-series Head) motor. The motor runs great, achieves 40psi oil pressure. New spark plugs, rotor, cap and wires. New starter. Radiator has been flushed. Rebuilt brakes. New front pinon seal, new front drive line U-joints (have receipts from Pete’s 4×4 repair shop in Butte).
New body seal to gas tank. New Tail gate, and front bumper. Tires are 80% new. We have the title.
We bought this jeep in 2007 and have no time to enjoy it anymore. ”

“1946 Willys CJ2A Jeep for parts or restore… serial number 16837. Frame is in fair condition and has an really nice battery tray. Front and rear axels turn freely and still have the early style scalloped front hub flanges. Early indent style tub is ruff but has many nice parts still on. This jeep has all the tags on it but doesn’t come with a title. There is no engine or transmission/transfer case but I can supply one and most of all the other missing parts if you’d like to restore this jeep.”

“I have a 1943 Ford GPW for sale. Jeep was running but has not been started in a while. I will attempt to start it this coming week. The jeep needs work but most of it is there. Comes with loose parts as well. It appears to be all original including the Ford GPW engine which is normally replaced with a Willys engine. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. That’s a pretty FC.
“Finished in the optional President Red and Plantation White combination this all steel body pickup shows very well. The side mounted spare tire matches the other four wheels and tires. The front fender extensions and rear fenders are solid and look great. All the trim is present, complete, and displays normal wear for a vehicle of this age. The black front bumper is fits well with a finish as expected considering the age. The custom rear step bumper is sturdy and is functional. The metal bed and wheel wells is completely covered with a black protective paint.
Inside, the grey and black vinyl seat that looks period and is very good condition. The black door panels and grey dashboard are a subtle continuation of the two-tone theme of the interior. The optional heater and original gauges are correctly placed have a nice appearance and function as designed. The original equipped two spoke custom steering wheel is in good condition and functions as designed.
This 1958 FC-150 is equipped with the original 134cid Hurricane F4-134 inline 4-cylinder engine fed by a Carter one barrel carburetor. Power is transferred to the wheels by a Borg-Warner T-98 three-speed manual transmission and a Model 18 transfer case. Driver assist features include 4-wheel drum brakes. The suspension includes leaf springs with front and rear solid axles. The 15-inch original white steel wheels with Goodyear Wrangler tires complete the look.
The FC-150 advertising motto in the day was “Go Anywhere!” and all your need to do is bring this ’58 to the next “Jamboree” and turn heads! GET OUT AND DRIVE!
Current mileage on the odometer shows 11,595 miles, sold as is with a mileage exempt title.
