“We have a nice survivor CJ-2A Willy’s Jeep. The 4 cylinder has been replaced with a Buick V6 at some point it its life. The transmission is a stock T-90 3 speed. There is a Koenig PTO winch, tow bar and also a Koenig hard top with full doors. The body is in rather good shape for being as old as it is. Seats are not factory, Tires are good, great tread. This little Willy’s can be ready for hunting season if you hurry.”

“This a great old jeep. Too many toys forces me to sell. It has new brakes, hoses, gaskets, gas tank, and rear jump seat. This would be perfect for restoration or to drive now. The tires have lots of tread, it is licensed, and has a clear title. It has 12, 000 original miles on it.”
I spent yesterday sick in bed. That was good for watching some football, but no good for updates (nor did I check any email). There should be updates Tuesday morning.
An article and some photos appeared at the Blue Ridge Now website. He held the Southeast Willys Jeep Get Together yesterday. Read more below.

This is a great press release photo taken a little more than a week after the Bantam arrived at Holabird for testing. Thanks to Steve for finding it.
One thing I noticed about the photo. See how the dirt from behind the front fender was thrown onto the side of the jeep. I’m wondering if the thing we’ve called the step on the sides was actually not a step at all, but specifically designed as a mud flat to stop that from happening. I just never thought about it in those terms before (maybe I’m just behind the curve on that??).

It’s a project.
“This is a military Ford jeep. The tub is a reproduction and most of the running gear is all original. The frame is painted olive drab green. This jeep is pretty close to being all stock with the exception of the paint, rollbar and bumpers. I have a spare tranny, front & rear axles to through in. The engine was rebuilt and has less than a thousand miles on it. She rolls on sixteen inch tires and wheels. The wiring has a new style fuse panel and I added the signal lights. All gages work except the gas gage, which only needs a sending unit. Minor scratches in the paint, no rust to speak of. This Jeep is fun to poke around in. It has always been stored in the garage since I braught her back to life. ”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(09/082016) This jeep had a trencher.
“1949 original jeep. Engine not runing but turns. Old trenching jeep. No extra parts what you see is all I have for it”

“Runs but needs a fuel line ran. Has a 318 chrysler. Brand new aluminum 15 gallon fuel tank. Can start off a gas can to show it runs. Has kind of a rough bedliner job and the windshield needs coated. Seats need reupholstered. Brand new tires. ”
