“willys jeep forward control 170 parts..2 right side cab doors in great shape, with windows handles and arm rests very little rust, filler plate for between bumper and cab, extra vent windows, dash, ash tray, headlight bezels, shifter pedals, factory copper radiator (nice), flat head six engine in parts, and more…$700 takes all”
Not sure how much value is under the rust.
“Flat Fendered Jeep CJ-3A. The jeep was a working vehicle on a farm until a several years ago. The- motor went and it was left to the elements. The motor was disassembled and it was also left exposed to the elements. The block is still in it and I have the head. However, I understand the transmission, transfer case, diffs, hubs and steering were all functioning well when it quit. It is a civilian model that is heavily rusted. I was going to do the minimum and put a 225 V6 in it. BUT, I cannot get around to it for a while and my home owners association is doin there crap. So, I would like to get it moved out of here soon. The tires don’t hold air so it will have to be trailer-ed. There is no title. I will be here all weekend, if you want to take a look, can get it moved and want to make me a cash offer, I will not part it. I will be glad -to answer questions by phone if I can, but face to face cash (and you have trailer) is the way I deal.”
Maybe has some parts value.
“1950’s m170 willys jeep. needs some work but runs and drives. has some rust but it’s un restored and it’s 66 years old. definitely worth fixing up. the m170 is a rare medic jeep it is 20 inches longer then your normal jeep and the passenger side door opening is larger to accommodate the spare tire so a stretcher could be put in the back. it is all original except engine. it has an all original 1966 mustang 289 v8 that runs great. there is no title but if you know old jeeps you know you can get one for cheap with Vin plates. asking $1,400 or trade… ‘
UPDATE: Price dropped to $1850.
(10/07/2016) It runs.

The University of Toledo’s digital archives (UTOPIA) includes several pages of a wartime record report for the Willys Overland fiscal fear ending September 30, 1943. The report spans 107 pages, but the digital archive only includes five of the pages. The part that caught my eye was a table of contents line showing a discussion of the “Jeep” – Evolution of a New Military Vehicle, a chapter that lasted 16 pages. Has anyone ever reviewed the report? The full report appears to be in the Ward M. Canaday Center for Special Collections.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.
Looks like a good price.
