Just a few updates tonight and some pics from Halloween 2016. The crowds weren’t as heavy as previous years. Sunday’s downpours and Monday’s wind may have discouraged some parents.
I didn’t get many pics this year because I wasn’t feeling all that great. But, here are some.

Brakes have been upgraded to 11 inch drums. This jeep has a Braden power take off winch, these winches run off the engine power and don’t kill your battery. This Jeep starts easily and runs very well, the transmission and 4 wheel drive are smooth, quiet and work as they should. This Jeep has a 1951 M38 body tub. The Jeep comes with a full top, doors, bikini top, spare parts, towing lights and a technical manual. The rifle in the rifle rack is not included in the sale. The unusual sounds you here in the video is a building being demolished next door. Overall a nice solid, good driving old Jeep. To watch the video, click on the Video tab next to the Photo Tab above. California buyers will be registered at the site. Out of state buyers will receive the clear California title to complete transfer in their home state.”

Thanks to Idaho Todd for this wonderful 2016 Halloween Willys photo.
I will be spending all (and I do mean ALL) day setting up for trick-o-treaters. My mother-law-law likes to put on a big show for the kids, so we decorate on Halloween day then take everything down after they leave. Hopefully it doesn’t rain this year!
This photo shows Canadian soldiers carrying French civilians to safety near Falaise, France.
““approx. 5″ x 6″ Typewriter Release glued to back of photograph Stae Department issued 1944 Very good vintage condition with only minor waves or creases if any Please see images”
Looks like a thoughtful restoration.
“I’m selling my restored 1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A. The only reason I’m selling is to fund another purchase. It has had a frame off restoration back around 2006. This is a early production, matching numbers jeep, more desired by collectors. It even has the original serial numbered engine. Every last part was gone through and refurbished or replaced. It has been restored as original as possible down to the original body and wheel colors, 6 volt electrical system, and cloth covered wiring. The body was just repainted very recently. It has a show quality finish.
I have only put 4000 miles on the jeep since the restoration. It runs great and I wouldn’t be afraid to drive it anywhere.
I’m tired of people trying to scam me. I will not respond to text messages or email until you call and I know you are a real person. I do not have voice mail, but I will return your call if I miss it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
Ted’s selling this 3A that includes a winch, overdrive, and a bed extension.
“For sale is a 1951 CJ3A Willys Jeep. It has been re powered with a period correct Chevy 265 V8 which I believe to be a late 50s motor. Motor has been adapted to the original Jeep three speed transmission and model 18 transfer-case. Motor runs well but could use a tune up and original Rochester carb could use a rebuilding at some point. Choke is a little finicky and I dont think the older carbs gaskets agree with the new gas were burning. Jeep runs ,drives and stops. Shifts through all gears as it should. Continue reading
