(10/23/2016) Looks good. Has been converted to 12 Volt.
“1942 Ford GPW. I have a clear title. New tires, new canvas top and seats. Rebuilt carburetor. 5 combat rims. Original riveted brass data plates – numbers match the frame. This was a running jeep that was cleaned, repaired as necessary, painted, and returned to the original condition when obtained. It has been converted to 12 volts. with an alternator. It is believed that all the parts are original except for the front bumper and horn (try to find a Sparton horn at a decent price!) and of course, the alternator. There are a lot of Ford marked parts – it is assumed that those who did repairs and replacements did not worry about using Ford marked parts in the past.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $3500.
(10/20/2016) Runs, but windshield needs some work.
“’47 Willys for sale. Runs great! Hard top, rear window and doors are included but doors and rear window are not currently on it (see pics). Driver’s door has a manufacturers tag from Willys though I’m not sure who actually made it – I’m told Grumman made them during the war and for a little while after, but I haven’t researched it too much. Tires have been “slimed”. The windshield seems solid (even though it has a crack) but the frame supporting it does show considerable deterioration – needs to be replaced, I just haven’t had time. No title. Great hunting or ranch vehicle.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $1000.
Craig shared this ad. Lots of truck parts.

Needs a little work to be road legal.
“WWII Willys 1/4 ton MBT trailer, built on 3-44, Serial # 64246 . The trailer is mostly complete, only missing the lunette, tail lights (one included), 1 reflector and original wiring. The ball type hitch is not welded on, it’s bolted, you should be able to removed it fairly easily. This has a lot of original parts: original data plate, light brackets, reflectors (3), handbrake and cable, chains, landing leg and swivel (work great), shocks, combat rims and what I believe are the original WWII Goodyear NDT Military tires. Tires hold air and I supposed it could be towed home, but I would trailer it.There are some issues with the box, so I have included the top half of another MBT trailer (front and both side panels) that you can use to graft onto/patch the areas on the front bulkhead and 1 side. This way you get the right metal thickness and stamping, and your trailer remains all original. Also, included is one tail light bucket.”
Oh my.
“Project Jeep that I never had time for. 1970’s F250 Shorten Frame with a 429 Ford Motor with CJ Body. It’s a 4 speed and rear posi, with 3 quarter ton axels. Brand new aluminum radiator for race car. Has some rust damage, needs front drive shaft for 4×4, needs breaks but comes with brand new pedal. Comes with spare distributor. Needs front hubs. WOODS JEEP….NO TITLE……BUILD FROM BOTTOM UP….Light bar and cubes not included…..$2200.00 OBO reasonable. I don’t have time for it. RUNS WILL SEND VIDEO AS REQUESTED”
Plenty of surface rust.
“What we have here is an early Willys MBT 1/4 ton trailer. Best for parts, or a low cost restoration item. Chassis is solid, early cast center willys axle, cotter pin shock mounts, lunette mount is nice, has ebrake assembly, flat tow hooks. No ID plates other than a PA ID plate, bill of sale only, no title. I have correct 16″ jeep wheels if wanted. Really rare early production, only a few made with the cast center axle. Body is quite rusty and beat up. Will trade for other MB, 2A, 3A, 3B, M38 or 58-62 Willys pickup parts (Body tubs, rolling chassis, parts vehicles, clean sheetmetal, etc) or?”
Has some frame rust. Engine will run.

This story deserves a much longer telling, but let me cut straight to it. I’m in Seattle to work on Rusty. I dropped my iPhone in a bowl of Pho Soup. Not good. I rushed home and set it up to dry. Shortly afterward, I removed Rusty’s heater, only to find someone had built an expansive home inside the heater. This explains some of the missing cushion from the seats. As I was taking pics with the Nikon, the battery died. So, I turned to my computer, but the photos were much worse than I imagined. Not a great tech day.
On the bright side, I tested the heater fan and that works. Also, my phone seems to be drying out … finally.
As you can see below, the inside of the heater is almost entirely filled with stuff:
And this is how it looked after that stuff was removed (and after my iPhone started working a little better). I now need to remove debris from the fins and repair the lower tube.
I also disassembled my speedometer. The rod that powers the pointer had broken. I will see if there is any way to repair it. The part looks awfully like later speedometers, so there may be hope for replacing it, but I first have to disassemble the front plate from the mechanism. Based on what I’ve read, it might never work quite right. But hey, it doesn’t work quite right anyhow!
UPDATE: Price dropped to $6000.
(08/26/2016) Looks like a nice build.

“64 fc170 flatbed dump. 4wheel drive. 6 cylinder Willys Hurricane engine. Turns over with battery, but does not run. 3 speed transmission shifts well. PTO hydraulic pump runs the 9×7’dump flatbed. Has no brakes but rolls freely. All 4 tires hold air. Frame in decent shape. Only rough part is near the drivers side front spring hanger. Easily boxed. Has upper plow frame. All glass is good, but one small chip in windshield and some minor fogging. Body need some work, but not actively rusting. Doors are in good shape with mostly functional crank up windows and vents. All 4 cab corners need some work. Also needs floor work. This truck is a project. A non runner.”
