“have a 1948 Willy’s project Jeep for sale. clean title. I started this project a while back(Years) and after a lay off and pay cut, I hate to see it sitting along side the shed. I put 1970 jeep front and rear end underneath it not sure what gear ratio. the body is all ready primed . The tool box and bed have been fiber glassed,this was done by previous owner. I have a 4.3 V6 engine that needs to be rebuilt, four speed transmission and transfer case with all the adapters needed to put it together, new motor mounts, new headers and brand new gas tank for under the drivers side seat. I also havea brand new master cylinder and clutch all in one setup with under the dash peddles. You will need a trailer to haul the jeep. I asking 2000.00 OBO (Cash only) . ”

It has a chevy 283 that has been bored with a 327 crank and a 30 30 fuelie cam. It has 11 inch brakes and 4.27 front and rear ring and pinions . No pics provided. Given the price, you might expect to find an engine, or tranny, or even seats, but nope. Of course, the seller argues that buyers should “wake up” and that they can obtain any of those items at a local junkyard. Good luck with that.

“Selling my old Willys jeep needs some work , body is in excellent condition , no engine , no transmission, no seats, I have a new carb for it . I have had this at my uncles place , and someone has been taking parts of it , and I have made up my mind to sell it to some lucky person , all these parts can be found in a junk yard all on the cheap side , so with a few more dollars you can have a truly collectors item, so wake up people, some of the original paint can still be seen on the body. price is firm so do not try to low ball me, I have done my research . email me for more info on it .”
