This is a good price on four rims.
“Older wheels. Older Ford Jeep Dodge pattern. 15 inch, 8 inch wide. Set of 4”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
(09/13/2016) The Bed Extension looks like a permanent fixture rather than an aftermarket version. The last pic shows the walls of the extender appearing to extend into the bed.
“Runs excellent. Original other than wheels and tires. PLEASE CALL”
These photos came from a 1955 jeep family brochure introducing the CJ-5. What’s curious is that several photos show the shackles on the front springs located at the front (see the “mail carrier” photo). As most know, the earliest CJ-5s had shackles in the rear. So, I’m wondering if the CJ-5s in these photos were bodies put on CJ-3B chassis or whether they were prototype chassis.
Could be a nice jeep.

“1947 jeep Willy’s 4×4 225 buick odd fire V6 rebuilt with added performance cam and 500cfm holley carburetor and long tube headers. Converted to power steering with a rebuilt saginaw 4 speed manual transmission and with an advanced adapters kit with big aluminum radiator and heavy duty Spicer drive shafts that have been rebuilt, Dana 18 transfer case with timeken bearing kit and heavy duty cross shaft. Rear differential is a Dana 44 and front differential is a Dana 27, both are equipped with 488 gearing and posi traction big brakes.
Had intended on a v8 originally so firewall is clearanced to except v8 and jeep was built up to handle it with front boxed frame and heavy duty cooling system. 2 inch new lift kit on 33 inch tires. Frame is from a 1952 cj and gauges are from a cj5 with aluminum dash. And cj5 swinging foot pedals with hydraulic brakes and clutch setup, new bucket seats with racing harnesses. also has electronic ignition. Needs a little electrical work done to the gauges. Vehicle is currently registered with a green sticker only needs to add front windshield to register it for the street but since I don’t drive it on the street I haven’t bothered to repair broken windshield which comes with vehicle. Solid vehicle that just needs some one to finish off or drive as is and have fun with, I also have 1 ton front and rear axles that will go with the Jeep Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear plus 4 steel wheels to make the swap.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500
(10/05/2016) Craig spotted this one. It looks like there has been some body work.
“1955 willys wagon only 814 made with this super hurricane straight six engine. It runs perfectly and quietly. 3speed on the column. Completely gone over from plugs and wires to oil bath. Has electric fuel pump. New wiring harnes from front to back with cloth covering to look original. Upgraded to 12 v system with reducer for gauges. New drums, brakes, bearings and tires. New fuel lines and gas tank. Heater was rebuilt and blows very hot. Everything mechanical has been done so far. The body would be next but if I start that the price will go up. Very rare vehicle that could be an addition for someone that knows about Willys. $6,500.”
It’s a project that includes a Warn winch. If it has been parked before the “mountain blew”, it means it was parked prior to May of 1980 (36 years ago).
“1963 Willys CJ.

Absolutely perfect windshield.
One NOS front fender.

The San Francisco area’s East Bay Times reported on Scott Steven’s 1942 GPW. Read all about it here: http://www.eastbaytimes.com/2016/12/05/me-my-car-42-jeep-as-spartan-as-they-come/
UPDATE: Sold for $46,750.
This 1960 DJ-3A Surrey will be auctioned in January of 2017 by Sotheby’s. The jeep is described as a “beautifully presented flawless restoration”. That statement is followed by a series of inaccurate statements regarding the history of DJ-3A, such as the DJ-3A was introduced in 1955 (nope 1956). You can see all the pics and information here:
As Colin pointed out to Sotheby’s, despite some great work on this, there are actually numerous flaws with this restoration:
Looks nice.

“An authentic, 1944 U.S. Army 4cyl, Willys MB Jeep, VIN#
MB 383450 with just over 26,000 original miles. It is completely operational with many accessories, including the top, spare, tools and implements. We have brought the jeep up to approximately 90-95% operation and appearance. This jeep is show worthy but runs a little rough, determined to be a minor problem by my mechanic. The driver\’s seat was extended with a kit for steering wheel and leg comfort. I can also provide to a serious buyer all that was invested in the restoration.
We are selling this Willys MB because, we were unable to get any Kentucky grant funding for acquisition and the full restoration; Our personal investment had reached its limit.”
