UPDATE: Tim wrote me to say he’d found some of these sitting unused outside his place of employment. Unfortunately, there was too little left of them or they were too far gone to restore. The ones they had were powered by Wisconsin air-cooled V4 engines. They also had stainless steel tanks for liquid usage. He was able to take photos of a complete one before they disassembled it. This jeep is still a 6 volt system with all new gages and everything works. It has the military tires all five and is painted black under coating thru out. It does need for the drive train to be sealed just from sitting so long which I have and the emergency brake and cable to be installed which I have all the parts. It had approx. 62,000 when I got it and runs great. It has been kept inside a shipping container. I will include pictures soon but if you like to see it please call.”

1942 MB Alexander, AL SOLD

I have a 1942 WWII Willys MB for sale in Alexander City, AL. I have a two and a half year rebuilt motor. It’s a late 40s or early 50s jeep flate head L-134 motor. It’s about 75 to 80 percent complete project. Everything but body so far has been painted lusterless OD green. Here is a list of what I have done to it.

-new brake lines
-new wheel cylinders
-new master cylinder
-new brake pads
-new body kit from the Philippines (includes tub, windshield screen, fenders, hood, top bow, window seals, and grille)
-new front bumper with frame gussets to bumper
-new rear cross member
-Korean style pintle hook
-fully rebuilt L-134 from late 40’s early 50’s (motor mounts facing in opposite directions so I had to modify the frame mount brackets to fit) Hasn’t been cranked in a few years since the Mechanic did it in front of me.
-6 volt system
-rebuilt generator

This one was in the Kaiser Willys 2016 Calendar. Colin reports the owner says there is over 100 grand in it!

1950 Jeepster:

The 50 Jeepster is a nice car with an older restoration, F-4 cylinder without overdrive.

1953 Kaiser Willys Aero:

The Willys Aero is a 53 with F-head 6 and overdrive. This sold for $13,500.

(07/29/2016) I thought the color scheme was interesting.

Updated price reduced! Up for sale after 15 years of ownership is my Willys Jeep Truck. This truck has been a labor of love… but i just dont use it as much as one should.. Here a brief description of it…
1.)Motor is a flat head 266 Hurricane inline 6 cylinder. It will need a water pump I’m ordering one so i can have it installed. (From a 57 willys wagon.)
2.) Trannys a 3 speed on the flooor with a 2 speed transfer case.. T90 and spicer 18 T case.
3.) 4 wheel drive with lock outs.. (see pic’s.)
4.) Body: is all metal very solid. Very little body filler!
5.) 5 military non-directional tires with tubes and black powder coated rims..
6.)original axles.. the rear is a timkin 53 split housing.. the front is a dana25 with closed knuckles outers..
7.) Converted to a 12 volt charging system.. Trade or barter?
