Craig spotted this ad. It has some type of “garage door rear door”. We aren’t sure if this means a roll up door or a swing up door. Anyone have ideas on this?
“1963 jeep, motor is free and turns by hand. Ran when parked. My wife road in it as a child, we bought it hoping to clean it up some but have not had the time or extra money to do it. Need some body work and what ever it takes to get it running again. Has a hard top on it with a garage type rear door. Rear seats face inward. We also have a spare frame, windshield, and other miscellaneous stuff to go with it. $2000 or best offer. I am told it started life as a forest ranger jeep in the Adirondacks.”

Something a little different.
“1948 willys stock drivetrain with a 1959 Anglia escort body. Car sat for a very long time. Story is two long for this listing but could tell it if need be. It needs lots of tlc. It runs and drives and has great potential for someone with time money and a place to work on it as it is still a project. put in plugs, pts, cap, rotor, new master cylinder, some tires and wheels. Wheels are original 16″ jeep wheels. Brakes need adj, some wiring. Body is good. Wheel wells flaired but no rust after 25 years. Would consider trade for MG. “This is an original vintage press photo. Thirteen new jeeps with snowplows attached have arrived for delivery to the Milwaukee’s Department of Public Works. They will be used in winter for fulfilling city contracts for sidewalk plowing. They can also be used with lawn mower attachments. The fleet will be added to similar equipment already on hand. Future purchase of more is under consideration. George Renno, 1350 South 98th Street, town of Wauwatosa, a passer-by, looked over the vehicles at Greenfield Motor Sales, 9800 West Greenfield Avenue, town of Wauwatosa. The jeeps cost $2,087 each. “Very nice and original jeepster. Original dauntless v6 engine with 3 speed tranny. 4wd. Absolutely no rust Arizona history and a very straight accident free body. Runs and drives good . Doesn’t smoke. Fan motor and heat works well. Wipers work on both speeds. All lights work. All glass is good. 4 matching Kumho tires in good shape. 1/2 cab is removable making truck a convertible. Comes with a canoe / ladder rack and a spare tire. Also has the original seat for the cab and a seat for the bed. Excellent tow vehicle behind motor home or very fun driver for these nice fall days and gets complements every time I drive it. ”

“1944 Willys Jeep Does Not Run, The Old Warn overdrive unit went out 2yrs ago. The Boss 302 Mustang Cobra engine was solid when overdrive unit went. Has a T18 Transfer case, Dana Adaptor, and Transmission. It has been sitting covered for 2yrs. Body is in good shape( some rust),33″ Tires, Pintle hitch, winch, bucket seats, Bikini top and doors. The trailer is a unique oddity, 2 Willys jeeps welded together. I was in the process of restoring, decided to sell, has surface rust. You will not find another trailer like it. No trades, cash only. “1946 CJ2A for sale.
Bought it several years ago and completely dismantled it with the intention of restoring it but never got around to it. Sadly, I have come to the realization that I probably will never complete the project so, I’m selling it. As shown in the pictures, most major components are included. Frame, tub, fenders, grill, windshield frame and hood are in very good condition. Includes all major components with the exception of the following: Driver and passenger seats were ugly retrofits so they were discarded. Steering wheel and gauges were badly cracked/weathered so they were discarded. Wheels were not CJ2A specific so they were discarded.
I do not know the condition of the engine block and I do not believe it is the original block, however, it is a “Go Devil” L Head engine.
Asking $2,500.”

“ffered reluctlantly is one of my preferred projects a 1982 unadulterated Jeep Scrambler cj8, unfortunately my lungs no longer agree with restoration projects. As much as I love other classics there definately is a “Jeep Thing” which runs through ones veins even Enzo Ferrari gave the Jeep honorable mention. This Jeep Scrambler is definately a basket case which can be a good thing if you know how to restore these but it is all here plus and extra period correct running motor. Please note EXTRA motor as the original [in pieces] is there.
The interior is in excellent shape no rips tears dents or paint, the top a bit faded but also in good shape. Floors are rusted, exterior body good for this state but some rust, frame some rust. Engine in pieces but spare engine comnes with for parts or drop in while you rebuild the other. The pricey scramblers ones 30,000 and up appear to be the unadulterated one as you would expect and I have seen nothing but these going up as less than 25000 were made. Well this scrambler has NOT been lifted, stretched, widened, chopped, had a chevy v8 dropped in [nor any other motor for that fact] made into a rock crawler a mud bogger or anything other than a JEEP SCRAMBLER that is why I bought it.”
