All new gaskets, electrical runs, seals, seats, gas tank/float, etc. Brand new transmission with about 100 miles. Added stinger hitch receiver for carrying mountain bikes (or whatever). Purrs like a kitten with a top speed of about 43mph. Wish we had room to keep her. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3600. Vince wrote a post about this at the DailyTurismo.
Rudy’s selling this rare purpose-built APU on a jeep chassis.
“Very Rare 1953 limited production 4X4 specially built for the U.S Military by O.E Szekely and Associates. This is an all aluminum body, tub, fenders, and hood so theres no cost for rust rot work and repair . Dual Aluminum gas tanks so theres no need to worry about rusted out tanks. The Chassis is Jeep. The engine is a Lincoln (ford) 317 V8. This is not Frankensteined, this is the original way it was built for the Navy to jump start, run system checks, and tow jets. Do not have the generator equipment. does not run and is for restoration or customize purposes. As is where is. Unique, rare and easily bad ass potential. Add seats, swap motor, take the paint off and pollish the aluminum body, run through the chassis. pink on hand. first $3600 obo takes it.”
UPDATE: Ad was flagged on Craigslist. Status Unknown. Was $1900.
This has a variety of updates. It might have some Allstate or Husky hubs. I can’t tell for sure which.

My husband passed away 4 months ago. He was ill for a year and was not able to tinker with the Jeep as he normally did. He originally was asking more money for it, but I need to move it and I am asking $10,0000, but I am willing to negotiate on the price.
Car was started a few weeks ago, but I didn’t want to run it but a short time so it didn’t mess up Carb.
SELLING AS A PROJECT CAR”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $799.
(01/29/2017) Looks in good shape.
“I have an old Jeep Willys body for sale, don’t know much about it, it does have rust, figured it would make a cool rat rod like pictured or a great military looking re-build. Even perfect for a kids bed, many possibilities. No title,
Just is what you see in the pics, I have a friend that has a hood and grill that would probably work out depending on what your building. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $20,000.
I think the price rules it out as a “perfect father and son project”. Seller doesn’t mention it has a replacement body. It will take more than a few hundred to bring this up to “showroom ready”.
“This willy’s only needs a few more hundred spent on it to become showroom ready, all of the original fixtures are present, including the 6 volt battery. The Vin is buried under a weld on the rt. front bumper strut and it needs a front steering strut kit to even up the steering, runs like a pip with all working lights bells and dials. This would make an ideal father& son project. Here are some of the extras built in…
brand new Kaiser shocks, a re-built carburetor, new U joints, suspension and brakes. 4 brand new 1940’s style 4×4 tire’s, with 2 original tires spare.
Work invoice for other fixed parts available upon request at email.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500.

I was doing some research on a Willys Overland site in downtown Denver when I stumbled upon a blog from 2013 about Jean and Dan. They rebuilt a 1950 Wagon they called Jenny, then traveled 10,300 miles through 15 states to visit 12 western National Parks over 63 days.
