Maury shared this cure for his foot pedal:
Like some others who have mid-60’s V6 CJs with the hanging (suspended) type accelerator pedal, I’ve found my ’67 CJ5 to be somewhat uncomfortable to drive over long, and even not-so-long distances due to the awkward placement and size of the original stock gas pedal. It’s no problem for me to reach the gas pedal with the front part of my foot when my heel is on the floor, as I wear a size 13 shoe. Even so, I’ve found that the muscles in the front of my shin frequently begin to ache from having to constantly hold my foot up at the angle necessary to depress the gas pedal.

“I’m selling a 1971 Jeep wrangler CJ 5, It is lifted and has a set of 33×12.50-15 wheels on it. It runs great, starts right up, clutch feels good, shifts good. Its 4 wheel drive and has the twin stick transfer case with the ” dauntless V6″ engine. The Jeep was restored in the early to mid 90’s, i believe its all original except for the paint and wheels. The front seats are in good condition, only rear seat has started to show wear. With a little work, you can have a great beach cruiser or just all around great fun Jeep. These CJ5’s are becoming harder and harder to find so here’s your chance to own one. Come take it for a drive around my place and lets talk Jeeps.”
This has a winch and a warn OD. Could be a good price. Has a dash made from diamond plate.
“I have a 62 Jeep willys that i have had around the farm for a few years and it is getting hard for me to get in and out of it with having the lift, so here it is.

spare 275 65 18 tires and wheels for summer
