(10/16/2016) It includes what appears to be a Kelly Hardtop, but I doubt that the top will fit over the roll cage.

“I have 3 CJ2A jeeps that im going to part out and sell or I can sell the jeeps all together. Im not sure on the exact years but they are between 1946-1951. One is complete and was running and driving about 3 years ago. it has been parked inside. the body is rough but could be fixed. Im asking 1500.00 for it. The other two are mainly parts jeeps. 2600.00 for all three jeeps or i can separate. they are worth 3 times that parted out but id like to just sell them as is.”
UPDATE: I’ve added some photos of an actual Portarator.
Merton Day obtained this brochure years ago. It’s not a jeep specific item, but it is easy to see how one of these generators hooked to a jeep could prove useful. The Portarator was installed in the engine compartment for power tools or other electric devices (such as a margarita blender, should the mood strike).
B&B manufacturing produced other Portarator products, as this brochure demonstrates, but I couldn’t find any Portarator’s for sale. Here’s the brochure Merton saved:
Thanks to Pascal for spotting this one.
“You are bidding on a rare original maintenance manual for the Willys MA prototype jeep. It’s a little dirty buy all pages are present. And in good shape. Will consider trading for other prototype parts or manuals for GP or bantam brc. Good luck and happy bidding!”

Looks good.

“Here is a very complete mostly original CJ5. I believe it received a frame-off restoration in the 1980s. Judging by the engine swap, and the quality of paint both on the exterior as well as under the tub body. The frame is rock solid. Top speed is around 45mph-50mph from the factory. Not suitable for the highway. I have driven it a few hundred miles around town with no mechanical problems.
Almost 100% solid body – Small patch under tool box, rust spot near driver’s fender. Some body damage on driver’s rear quarter. Small amount of rust at bottom of tailgate.
Ultra rare Meyer Half Cab
Late 70s Buick 231 V-6, a little cold natured but runs well once warmed up with a great amount of torque
Could probably use a carburetor cleaning

This is just to see if there is any interest. I am in no rush to sell, but if someone is willing to meet my asking price it is all yours.
The Good:
1947 CJ2A frame and axles. Both in good usable condition. Rear axle is the hard to find offset axle and the frame has had the spring hangers removed and relocated to allow for longer and stronger YJ springs. **softer ride with more articulation**
Brand new wheels with 4.5″ backspacing and used 33” mud terrains with a little tread left.

UPDATE: Here’s a split ventilating windshield that’s on Christiaan’s South African jeep (mentioned in the comments).
===========================
Originally post February 12, 2017: Jim and I were discussing ventilating windshields the other day, but we lacked some overall stats. So, I’m hoping to gather such information under one post. It seems that ventilating windshields were offered in the following variations on the following models:
Can anyone add to part 1 or 2?
Some Examples:
Ventilating Windshield Links:
We know a couple of these exist. One sold back in 2014.The fire truck has “Blitz Wagon” on it, while the company marketed it as a “Blitz Buggy” The company that produced these was the Hi Pressure Fog Equipment Company.
“This is an original advertisement,NOT a reproduction, no rips or tears. Size of ad is app 5 X 5.”

The same company also made this alternative version. Anyone recognize the vehicle? This ad also appeared in a 1951 magazine accord to the seller.
UPDATE: **SOLD for $6500** Needed some work.
“Relocating and have to reduce the herd a little. This is a 1958 Jeep Willys FC150 Forward Control. It has the 4 cyl engine, I believe they came with the L head 134 CI. It runs and drives, but the water pump is starting to leak. The electrical system looks like it was patched together from a more modern vehicle and all accessories don’t work. A new wiring harness will be included with the sale. A former owner had filled in the area under the bed with riveted sheet metal that looks to be ductwork material. I had started removing this sheet metal, but didn’t get very far. I replaced the leaky gas tank with a new one. It had a boom wrecker in the bed when I purchased it, but the wrecker and flashing lights have been removed. I have a clear Illinois title. When I looked up the VIN, it indicates that it is a 1957 model. I think back then, some states titled vehicles in the year that they were purchased, which may explain why it is titled as a 1958.”
Has a fiberglass body. Needs to have turn signals wired.
“For sale 1946 Willys has fiberglass body on Willys frame running gear and axels are 1966 ford bronco 4 speed muncie transmission has truetrac lockers front and rear and has Warn hubs 302 ford engine stroked to 334 stroker runs strong and fast just needs to be wired for turn signals and head lights asking $4500 or best offer no low ballers or trades”
Seller has some history on this.
“This is an Excellent ORIGINAL 1952 Willys CJ 3A in running condition, all original, It still has a brass plaque saying it was delivered to the NAVY December 1952 (probably Pearl Harbor Honolulu). But it is a civilian model CJ 3A, Jeep was purchased by a local Japenese coffee farmer at auction in the 60’s, he used it, then it sat in a shed for 35 years. When I purchased it. It needs winshield glass, and a few leafs in front spring, Body all original, can imagine some rust holes in corners of flooring and back bed.
This Baby runs great, and can climb like a goat., original 6volt system. Buyer must pay shipping from Hawaii. The Plates are in storage at the Hawaii Motor Vehical, registration is lost, but may be replaced at Motor vehical.”
