(10/23/2016) “Up for sale or trade is my 1948 CJ2A. It has a Buick V6 conversion, full floating Dana 44’s with a Detroit Locker in back and Tru Trac up front. It is a 4 speed T90, Dana 18 gear drive transfer case with twin stick, new OD green paint, top and seats. It has a new wiring harness which needs to be finished up. New 4 barrel intake and Edelbrock 500 cfm ready to install with a new electronic distrutor. I will consider a Harley in trade or a Jeep TJ and I’ll kick in some cash.”

Misc: roll cage built by independent4x4, Beard suspension seats, crow 5pt harnesses. Entire floor coated with monstaliner. Redneck ram hydraulic assist steering. Hydro boost brakes. M.O.R.E rear traction bar. Milemarker 12,000 lb winch.
I drive this jeep to rausch Creek and Gore a couple times a year, wheel hard trails all day long and drive it home. It’s very smooth on the highway at 70mph and is extremely capable on the rocks.”

The jeep has been sitting at my Arizona river house for many years. The Jeep has always ran and was used for towing my boat back and forth to the launch ramp. The Jeep sat under awning and cover when not in use. The jeep needs work to get fixed up. It is a project and the motor isn’t original for the 1944 year. The brakes need to be bled to get working. I bought it in Alabama 3-months ago and AL does not issue titles on older vehicles,so I do not have a title with this vehicle. Ebay required that I do not leave that option blank so I put Salvage. This jeep has never failed me, always started no matter how cold it is, I am currently still using it.
Body and frame are in good shape, not rusty.
Rear passenger side rim is bent, didnt know it was til I mounted these tires on it.

Cab and plow are easy to take off in the spring, and hit the trails. last couple pictures show the cab off and different rims, I switched back to the original style.

If you are looking at restoration, the rear passenger side of the back corner was damaged and patched at some point, and both sides where the tub meets the bottom of the fender have been patched.’

Rebuilt L head a few years ago runs perfect. Rear end is Dana 44 with 1 piece axles. Dana 30 disc brake front end. Both locked, 5.38 gears. PTO winch, 32″ super swampers with a spare. Body is not great, but works fine. Has some rust and leaks oil. Original 3 speed trains and spicer 18 t case. Fun rig that is reliable. Offers considered in person only. ”
