“I have a 1946 willys cj2a. It is a very good jeep, in good shape, and runs good. It was rusted and full of big holes when I got it. I spent a lot of time repairing, I cut out the holes, and welded in new steel. This jeep didn’t come with a glove box, I built one for it. It has the four cylinder hericaine engine that is real strong. And Dana 18. This is a civilian jeep, so it had a taile gate, but I was converting it to a 45 military, so I put in the solid rear panel. I only put it in one car show, and won 2nd place. That might have just been because of the gun. I don’t need to sale the jeep, I just don’t do anything with it anymore. I hate to see it not being used. I want someone new to enjoy it like I have. The browning 1919a4 that mounts to it, I have it in semiauto belt fed. I don’t want to sale it, but if the offer is good I will let it go with the jeep. I might be willing to trade for guns, or a jeep wrangler. $8,000 is just an opener, call me, let’s deal.”

UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $3000.
Runs.
“Up for sale is my 1961 Jeep CJ-6 4×4. The original engine runs like a champ, transmission and transfer case shift great and the 4×4 works as it should. This has been a project so it does need a little work. It has rust on the floors, rockers, tailgate, windshield frame, and fenders, all of which are easy to find replacements and cheap. Mechanically everything works as it should except the brakes, but they will work before I let it leave my house. I have a new master cylinder on order. Shoot me a text with an offer, I don’t know how to price it as it’s a pretty rare model and I’m not a Jeep guy. I don’t have a title at the moment but a bonded title is inexpensive and easy to get. For the right price, I can take care of that as well. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $23,000.

1941- U.S. soldier driving a Bantam BRC-40 jeep through a creek during maneuvers in Tennessee. Photo measures approx. 7″ x 9″.
This Kelly hardtop has side the fold outward. (the pic below might not be the actual top, but only an example of it)
” A used Jeep CJ5 8 piece aluminum top for a pre 76 cj5, I think, however, I was told it was on a 78, modified with some wood. The top has not been cut or damaged. All glass is perfect, I just decided I don’t have the time to mess with it. With new thicker weather stripping and a mod for each side of the windshield, I’m certain it would be a very cool addition, that’s why I bought it. All panels are removable which leaves just the top and the rear supports. I’ve added a pic of the door on my 77, the only real issue is the windshield, looking at it from the front, cants inwards on each side whereas the doors go straight up. The other pic with this top on the gold jeep looks to be about a 73. I’m in Rockford Illinois, buyer is responsible for shipping”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $12,500.
Nice looking M-38A1.
“1955 Military Jeep. This is a communications model jeep, which has an overdrive transmission. “For sale: 1956 JEEP cj6. The jeep runs, drives, stops as it should. For a 60 year old car she is in really good shape. Pretty much everything underneath the body is new and has been upgraded. The only thing left to do is the body work. Body is in okay shape(minimal rust) but has its dents here and there. The plus side about this JEEP is it has all the expensive upgrades done to make it a good driver. No where else on Craigslist are you going to find an early cj6 with a V8, power steering, power brakes, 3.73 gears, hydraulic clutch, and tilt steering column. These are just some of the features that make this vehicle so desirable. Not only to mention it is a CJ-6 which is nearly impossible to find. Only about 2,500 made in 1956.
If you have any questions feel free to call. If I don’t answer please leave a message and I will get back to you asap
