FC-150 Parts Farmington, MI
UPDATE: Price dropped.
Matt’s got these last few FC parts for sale. He’s hoping to find someone who can use them.
“These are my remaining 1960 Jeep FC-150 parts:
1) Rear Wide Track Ballast Weight: $200
Rusty, U bolts had to be cut due to rust. The portions of the rods remaining will need to be hammered out.
2) Gas Tank: $25
Bottom is rusty, but no rust holes through it, however, during removal from the Jeep, we accidently put a small 1/8″ hole in the top left corner (see pics). It is also contains dried ‘stuff’ and has no gas cap or straps. Good template, and possible easy fix of that hole.
3) Radiator: $100
No mounting rods, it is still attached to the core support, but that had to be cut, so I would not call that portion usable. It was/is filled with coolant, so there were no leaks, but it did contain sludge, so it may need a re-coring. The marking on the core is from the coolant spill when we cut the hose.”
1947 CJ-2A Wichita, KS $3200
UPDATE: Price dropped to $3200.
(04/02/2017) Runs and drives.
“Running and driving 1947 Willys Jeep. Clean and clear Kansas title with a matching ID plate. Great to enjoy the spring and summer or use for your deer lease or farm!
– new distributor cap, rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs.
Points and Condenser removed and upgraded to electronic ignition.
-New hi-torque starter
-Headlights work.
The LED tail lights and brake lights work, but aren’t currently wired.
-Smokes a little at start up then reduces when warmed up.
-The driver side wheel well has been notched to allow the driver’s seat to be pushed back. This is for all the guys with a rotund torso to be able to fit in comfortably, or long legs. I’m 6′ and my legs are fully extended and it sets very nicely.
-Windshield glass is good (no cracks) and the windshield pivots down onto the hood bumpers.
-The floor under the tool box could be patched or leave as is.
– A rare heater is installed if you ever put a top on it, and the fan does blow.
– Front tow bar is installed and it pulls very well. Bring a 2″ ball and pull it home or drive it.
Great jeep to drive as is or fix it up!”
Year? CJ-5 Dryden, NY $600
Craig shared this ad. It’s listed as a 1952, but it looks like a CJ-5, which means it is 1955 or later.
“1952 Jeep Willy’s for parts or to fix up. Comes with a plow and hard doors. It has a four cylinder motor and could be made to run like it is or fixed up.”

Working Away
With the rain staying away for a few days, I booked it over to Renton for a few days to work on Rusty. Here are a few of the things I did today.
I did a little more straightening to the body. This time I wanted to remove a bow along the top back. I’ve mounted a board as a straight edge. You can see the cancer in the rear.
You can see there’s a gap between the board and the back.
After some clamps and some sweet talking with a 5lb sledge, I coaxed the back into line.

Year? Photo of Jeep Driving onto a Float on eBay
It’s dated Nov 29, 1940, which is highly unlikely given this version of the jeep hadn’t been built yet. I’d guess more like late Nov 29, 1942 is more likely.
“1940 Press Photo US Military Men Directing Jeep on a Float. This is an original press photo. US Military men directing jeep on a float.Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 11-29-1940.”
