“Early 60’s jeep 4×4 pickup truck with a v8 350 mated to oem 3 speed manual tranny , all stock axles and driveshafts.
Custom interior, power seats , many new parts ,leaf springs, all brakes new ,dual exhaust. Has power steering conversion kit done and power brake conversion to drum brakes with dual master cylinder and booster. Big 33″ BF tires with American racing rims. stepside bed from little red dodge express truck with roll bar and custom bumpers. all drivetrain in good shape.
Needs a fuel tank purchased ,the filler neck is in, needs wiring and general going over before hitting the road. also has a AMC steering column ,sunroof ,stereo, extra doors and hood, Hela off road light setup with bar, sliding rear window too.
Clutch and gears all good ,motor has cam and loppy idle with edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb. ,should have HEI distributor installed, minor work and please be mechanicaly inclined, no test drives due to fuel tank not in yet.If not sold soon I am starting the finish work and truck will not be available

“Complete frame and drivetrain from a Willys Jeep FC170. This frame is immaculate. If you are restoring an FC170 that needs frame work, save yourself the trouble and just swap your body over to this one. While I have no way to verify, the drivetrain is reported to have only 30,000 miles; it at a minimum at least looks the part of a 30,000 mile unit. As the story goes, this Jeep was bought new, brought home and shortly afterwards, a tree fell on the cab. The owner decided to cut the cab away and use it on his farm as a tractor which means nothing from the road has had a chance to eat away at it. Look at the pictures carefully, the condition is truly excellent. The motor has been stored properly and should fire with relative ease. Please note that this frame has no title and I do not know the exact year”

Wednesday March 29th: Ending on Top of the World

On Wednesday, our last day on the road this trip, we drove from Elko, Nevada, to Pasco, Washington.

We began the day with a free breakfast courtesy of Stockmen’s Hotel and Casino. But, what I was really looking forward to was “second-breakfast” at the B. J. Bull Bakery, which specializes in pasties and pies. The Yelpers out there rated them highly and, given they sell some cold (so they can be reheated later), I figured it was an opportune time to try them, given the shop was a block away from our hotel.

On our way out of town, we pulled into the parking lot. We walked inside and found a small shop, with tables and an eating bar that allowed eating-in or taking-out. The menu was split between the pasties and the pies (which I thought would be pastie shaped, but instead were a normal pie shape).

The menu shows several beef options, but there was a chicken & rice option and a special chile/pork one that looked delicious. All the pasties on the menu were available warm and ready to eat. There were also leftovers from the day before that were a dollar less and cooled (ideal for taking home).

I decided to get a warmed breakfast pastie and then several cold ones to try when we got home. I also purchased a small and large pie to take home. Our purchase complete, we stepped outside and wasted no time biting into the breakfast pastie … “second breakfast” never tasted so good. It was filled with scrambled eggs, potatoes, and chunks of Jimmy Dean sausage. Importantly, the mixture was just moist enough not to be dry, but not moist enough to make the dough wet, which would have quickly devolve into a mess. Continue reading →
