Scott’s selling this nice looking jeep. It’s title as a 1955, so either it was a CJ-3B/CJ-5 or it was a late selling ’53 CJ-3A.
” Frame off restored/modified 1955 CJ3, nearly all body parts replaced, powder coated frame, new brake lines, new wiring harness, Buick 225 V6, electronic ignition, 33×12.50×15 BF Goodrich AT tires, American Racing aluminum wheels. Odometer shows 750 miles since resto/mod. Completely street legal. $11,000. Scott 409-920-8402 Orange Texas.”
Appears in good shape.
“Here’s your chance to own an American Classic! This Willys Jeep has been in one family since 1948. The vehicle had a frame up restoration in the mid-1980s and is still in solid condition and good working order. It has been garage kept and meticulously maintained over the years. The car starts and runs great. All of the wiring works (odometer needs connected).
If you are interested in purchasing or learning more about the Jeep please contact me by e-mail. I would be happy to send additional information and photos on request.”
The M-170 is $13,900 and the CJ-5 $2000.

The body is a 20 gage galvanized 3A shaped body.

There may be value here.
“I have 2 M38A1 jeeps that have spent the last 20 years in a barn… These are being sold for parts as there isn’t any current paperwork available on them …Between the two of them there are enough good original parts to complete one jeep …The engines were good when put away, but appear to be stuck now…Both engine compartments are complete with the proper military carburetors, fuel pumps, air cleaners, fording valves / vent lines, and 24 volt waterproof electrical / ignition systems …The green jeep’s body is shot, but it has nice original military accesories… windshield, gas tank, spare tire carrier, front seat frames, etc… The yellow jeeps body is fair and will need a new front floor and other minor repairs. .I’m asking $3000 for the pair or may consider a really good offer… I also have other used M38A1 parts available, and may consider swapping for other military jeep parts MB GPW , M38, M38A1, MBT ,M100, M416, M151 .. The tires are old so the jeeps will need to be trailered to their new home … I can deliver locally ( 30 miles ) at no charge, and will consider delivering regionally for a reasonable cost…. Please contact me through Craigslist email first …”
This looks like a K-38 cable trailer. And, it is built by the same company (Highway Trailer), but the tag and wheels suggest to me this is a pre-WWII model. The Highway trailer company of Edgerton, Wisconsin, began as a wagon works. In 1917 it shifted to trailers, large and small. This one would look better behind a vintage spoked vehicle from the 1920s.
“$800 OBO
Serious Inquiries Only Please
Must sell!
Excellent vintage condition with original Highway Trailer tag intact. No rusted holes and in great restoration condition or keep as is! Original wheels with Goodyear tires.”

“I have a 1983 postal jeep it’s a 4cly automatic 2wd right hand drive that runs brakes work but at the moment doesn’t drive. It goes into gear but doesn’t go any were my guess it’s the torque converter. I don’t have the time to mess with it so I would like to get $700 firm for it. The body is in pretty decent shape there is some suffice rust but no holes. The rear cross member on the frame could use some reinforcement but the rest of the frame is fine. I have a clean title in my name if you would like to take a look at it please come with a truck trailer or flat bed and cash.”

“I have a 1949 Willys Jeep CJ3A. It is completely disassembled. The frame is solid, the tub is not horrible, fenders and hood are good. It has a 4 cylinder engine and all of the running gear. The jeep is 98 percent there. I bought it as a project and have just too many going on. My intentions were to sandblast and powder coat the frame and then just slowly but surely put it together. Since there is so little to these jeeps, it really wouldn’t take that much to do a restoration, or, just put it together and have a running, driving jeep. I have the title in hand, don’t need help selling it, won’t ship it to you in some foreign country or take a check for twice the amount and send you back the change…..”
