Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1958 Willy’s Wagon. 98% original. Flathead “Super Hurricane” 6 cyl. 3 speed 4 wd. Has new brakes and drums. New leaf springs and hangers. Still 6 volt original charging system. Runs and drives great. Has some minor rust. Still has original slider boards in back. Does not have right rear bumper. Won’t find a better one than this. CASH ONLY!!! No Trades!!! Seen by appt only. ”

“Runs and drives. Flat 6. 3 speed manual trans. 4×4. Twin stick tcase. Very little rust. The odometer shows 89,000 miles. All original. .Its not road ready. But it is running and driving. Brakes are sticky from sitting. It could use a tune up (plugs, wires, points and oil change). Tires have cracking due to age. Leaks some oil from the fuel pump on the passenger side of the block. But it is complete and mostly original. Wouldnt take much to fully restore.”
