“Available is an awesome Willys Wagon ready for Spring cruising! This has been restored recently. A lot of time and money has been spent on the Willys for YOU to enjoy! It is in a nice driver condition. It has been in Tennessee over the last 30 years. The original engine and transmission were swapped for a Chevy 250ci 6 cylinder and automatic transmission. They are reliable, and it also has dual exhaust. It has new front and rear glass with rubber, the side glass has been tinted. It has nice moon caps and trim rings on color coded steel wheels. The heater works, as does the A/C (cowl vent)! It has a late model speedo that works, after market gauges and a CD player with box speakers in the rear.”

This looks like a good foundation for a panel project.

“1947 (?) Willys Jeep Sedan Delivery Project. Because of the rust and damage to the lower half of this vehicle, I am selling it as a project/rat rod project. Doors and fenders are not very good and either is the lower portion of the cab and body. Floors also have rust. Upper half and the top are in good condition. Has the original split front seats, gauges and heater. No engine or Title. Rolls but the RF brake is locked up.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2750.
If this runs, it might be worth a look. there appears to be only surface rust.
“Its only missing the back set. Has the over head valve 4 cellener in it 6 volt. system. The body is veary nice. come see it. ”

With some paint this might be a nice rig.

UPDATE: I haven’t seen a Craigslist ad for this place since last year.
This place looks interesting. How about that first pic?
“I have parts for MB, CJ-2A, 3A, 3B, 5’s, and for Willys trucks and wagons. Please let me know if your looking for a certain part. If I don’t have I can probably find it! I also have many vehicles that would make great starter projects for restorations or rock crawlers”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800
Someone might be able to use the body.
“Late 1950’s Willy’s Overland wagon Project someone started converting to a delivery by filling in the side windows.
-Very solid shell of a vehicle, great project vehicle or parts vehicle
-Rare rear door option, 4×4
No title, no engine or transmission. Come see it in person. If you’re into these old 4×4’s, this is a great project! Could make a great delivery van, rock crawler, or just a simple 4 wheel drive family wagon!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was No Price.
Eric forwarded this ad . . . By why park the wagons right there? I’m guessing they’ve been there a while.
“3 1949-1954 2 wheel drive Willys Jeeps station wagon parts for sale.”
Lou spotted this classic image of a man and his wagon at the New Jersey State Archives Facebook page. The chair hanger / fishing pole holder on the passenger side is interesting. Lou writes, “That’s on the beach at Island Beach State Park with Barnegat Lighthouse in the background – since those 10 miles of beach are preserved it still looks about the same and you can buy a pass to drive on the beach and fish.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $23,500.
(10/02/2012) Dan spotted this beautiful wagon, but it’s not cheap.
“Rare 6 Cyl “Tornado” OHC Engine, 63k miles, like new in and out, 2 owners for last 38 yrs, not interested in dealers call only”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800
Odd pic. I’m assuming the guns are sold separately?
“Old Willy’s 4×4 rolling chasis. No title.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7300
(02/19/2013) I like the color scheme. Looks solid.
“61 Willy’s Wagon– rebuilt super hurican 6 with only 1200 miles. New carb, brakes, clutch, and tires. New interior. Fantastic body. $7300.00.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500
The price is a bit high given it doesn’t run, but it has potential.
“for sale is a 1959 jeep willy s very good for restoration it is in good shape for its age . it is not running or driving been seating and r covered storage for long years now the owner willing to sale and he asking $ 4500”
Dan spotted this wagon. He notes it’s a good deal if the price stays low.
“1953 Willys Overland Station Wagon…..2Wheel Drive. I’m not 100% sure of the exact year model but believe it to be a 53. The truck is in extremely good shape and the only rust I have found on the vehicle is the front floor pans. The rust in the front pans is only in the center of the sheet metal and is not into the structure or seams of the pan. There is no engne or transmission. The rear floors, doors, rockers, tailgate, roof seam, etc., are in perfect shape. Suspension is all original. All the glass is still in the truck…some is cracked in places but is all there.
All in all a very nice rust free (for the most part) Willys Overland. It was going to be a personal project but you know the story…..along came a baby girl !!! And we all know which one took priority. You won’t be disappointed in the body on this truck …it is in very nice condition.”
