” Willys 1961 Traveler, if you’re looking you may already know the rarity of the Willys Traveler. If you are not I would suggest a good search of the internet, try “Willys production numbers” for a start. As if it wasn’t rare enough it has all the Civilian model Traveler specific parts in tact. I have been fooling with old Willys stuff since 1972 and have never seen one with all the pieces intact. It has the factory fold up rear bench seats, it has the roof mounted spare tire carrier, it has the rear sliding side windows, it has the step plate between rear bumper and the body all still attached. These ultra rare pieces are one of the things that makes it an ideal restoration candidate. The numbers are all correct for a 1961 Traveler and it comes with a good, clean title in my name. It’s 4 wheel drive with the desirable straight “6” 226 cubic inch flathead motor. The motor spins over by hand. the transmission and transfer case are in place.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000

“951 Willy’s Wagon. Partially restored. Here is a bit about it.
Most of the wiring was original and was not in good shape so it has all been taken out (with the exception of the ignition wiring) and has been replaced with an aftermarket 21 circuit easy wiring harness which is partially put in.
The bumpers were taken off of it when I stripped it down to work on and paint it. New bumpers have been installed.
The seats are out of it for ease of access to the interior. I have the original back seat. The front seats were replacement seats when I got it, and in poor shape. I do have a clear title, and it is registered in the State of Washington.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500
(05/21/2013) Looks solid. It needs a pto shaft.
“L6-226 Flathead, driveline is original with the exception of 12v conversion and electronic fuel pump, Koenig PTO winch (need driveshaft for winch), Warn overdrive, Warn front locking hubs, wagon is 99% all original, interior still has wood slats, Willys floor rubber, all seats, headliner, etc, Willys stamped rear bumper, all chrome molding, lettering and grille slats, etc. I am the 4th owner of the Wagon. I have the original manuals and a pretty good paperwork trail for the history of the wagon. If interested shoot me an email and we can discuss further.

(08/22/2011) “Would be a great project! Very rare 1947 Willy’s Overland Panel Jeep for sale.”
We hit our goal on Monday of seeing three car museums in Indiana and enjoying lunch with Steve at an old fashioned diner called Schoops. The downside was . . . when we tried to leave Indiana, we encountered road construction and blocked traffic (I-80 westbound was standstill). What should have taken an hour and a half took three hours. We went right to bed and just woke up a little bit ago. So, there will likely be no updates today.
However, I do have this neat photo Randy shared. The wagon below may have been one of several (exactly how many we haven’t determined) built by Kaiser for touring Hawaii. Note the four doors, extended bodies, and sun roofs.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000
It looks in good shape. Plus if you like skulls.

“This is a 1962 Willys Jeep with the original in-line six cylinder engine, manual trans, and 4WD. it runs and drives great. I also have every receipt for everything that has been done to the truck since 1980.
