UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6200
This shifter is a double barrel shotgun. Don’t run across that everyday.
“Fairly rare 1951 Overland Willys Wagon for sale or possible trade. I drive this thing a few days a week but its time to make room in the driveway so looking to sell or possible trade for something of equal value and uniqueness. I acquired this wagon a few years ago and all the work was done by the previous owner who owned a mechanic shop. Has a strong running 283 with custom exhaust and lake pipes. Lowered a few inches for a cool looking stance, rides pretty smooth and has not failed me yet. All lights and brakes work fine, horn needs a relay. Tires are all in great condition with at least 70% tread left. Has custom double barrel shotgun shifter with what I believe to be a 4 speed automatic. Current with registration and I have pink in hand. Original black license plates. The pictures you see were taken about two to three weeks ago, not last year, and I didn’t water it down to make it look better – like most people do.
UPDATE **SOLD** Was $3000
This has restoration potential.
“I have a 1952 willy’s that runs good body is in good shape but interior could use some work. it is a 2wd vehicle. NOT a 4×4. asking $3000/bo or possible trade for a 60’s or 50’s truck that needs minimal work. I will only except cash or trade no paypal or scammers”
This has potential, but needs to be towed.
“This Willys is from New Mexico and has no rust other than a couple of small nicks in the paint. Paint is decent and interior is basic but clean. Chrome is in good shape. Mostly original except SB Chevy engine. I have a set of axles (Dana 44) from a ’76 Wagoneer that I intended on installing for better streetability that come with the Jeep. If you know Willys you know they are geared low so these axles provide modern street gearing and brakes. Last driven over a year ago but it will start. Everything works. The drive shaft and brake lines for rear axel are disconnected so you will have to tow it. It’s registered but needs inspection. It’s a very solid Willys and someone with a little more time than I have could have it on the road in a few days. I have the clear title and will accept cash only. To avoid the robot replies I ask that you please put Dana 44 in your reply so I don’t delete you out of frustration.”
This might restore well.
“1953 willys wagon. Two wheel drive.4 cylinder manual 3 speed. Runs good, new master cylinder. All glass is clean, body in good shape, some nicks and dings. Solid wagon. Floors Are good. Please call 760-518-5501 thanks”

This Overland Utility Wagon has High/Low 4 wheel drive with 3 speed manual transmission. It has plenty of power with a Buick V6 and the interior finish is superb. This one won’t last long!

Dan pointed out that the October 2103 issue of Vintage Truck Magazine has a great looking article about the Traveller by Bill Norris. I’m going to get a copy of that magazine right away!
You can read it online here: http://www.vintagetruckmagazine.com/current/index.html
UPDATE: Fixed the link. Thanks Glenn.
Dan wasn’t sure if this was a Traveler or a Parkway, but it sure looks good. It also has a government plate on the dash.
“A true classic! It’s been in the family for almost 50 years, and now it needs a good home. Between 1999 and 2000 I spent over $25,000.00 on improvements, including New Goodwrench 350, transmission and transfer case replacement, performance radiator, front and rear axles, odometer and speedo, and much more. Since I’ve only put about 2500 miles on it in the last 12 years, it’s time to let it go. I have all documentation. Also, a PTO with winch. Runs and drives great! Tires were new as well, but they have become quite weather checked, and should be replaced. Buyer responsible for shipping.”

“Here’s a nice ’49 Willys Woody 2 door wagon (Tin Woody).
Fits the whole family and looks cool doing it! All it needs is a surfboard!
Nice body with a new satin black and custom woodgrain paint job. The woodgrain is all freehand airbrushed painted! NOT VINYL!
I have another hood for it for those that don’t like the hood scoop (I don’t like it so I found another hood. Just needs to be painted to match).
350 Chevy engine has been rebuilt. Has a little over 1,000 miles on it and the 350TH tranny.
Runs and drives great. Frame is a shortened S10 so it has power steering and power dics brakes.
Interior side panels and headliner are all wood. The side panels still need to be stained but headliner is done. Interior could use a little more work, but is presentable.
Has a Pioneer stereo that’s hooked up, but still needs speakers.
New tinted glass.
New tires with older but clean Centerline wheel”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3800
This appears solid.
“Willys wagon with a Chevy 350 that was professionally rebuilt about 40K ago, 3-speed manual transmission and Dana 18 transfer case. Front and rear axles from a 1989 Grand Cherokee with 323 gears. It will go down the highway at 80 all day. Rear axle completely rebuilt, dual exhaust, edlebrock carb, power steering electric wipers. All gauges work, excellent heater with large auxiliary heater behind passenger seat. New brakes all around. I bought if from the mechanic who did the conversion. He used to haul parts from Ennis to Bozeman. It has minor rust at the bottom of tailgate and behind the drivers door as shown in the pictures and the windshield is cracked. I had plans to do the minor body work and paint it but you know what they say about plans. It needs nothing mechanically.”
