“Project Truck, 4×4, engine and transmission are in place, needs drive line. Has Chevy rear end, the front end is original Willys. Also has original Willys rear end and Chevy front end. Comes with 2 bucket seats that is removed from the truck. All original glass are removed from the truck and stored in garage. Wanted to restored the truck, but it’s just way too time consuming. The photo of Joe Jackson, Jr., below was published in several different newspapers based on this google search. He must have had a very loving wife to live in a jeep while touring Europe!
According to the article, “Joe is wearing a 64-year-old clown costume that belonged to his late father as he tries out the jeep station wagon he will use for touring Europe. Joe, who carries on a comedy act originated by his father, will use the station wagon for a dressing room and living quarters with his wife.”

“For sale is a 1956 Willys Station Wagon-with a Chevy 283 engine. I am the second owner of this gem, as I recently purchased the vehicle in Denver, and drove it out here to DC for the summer. There is currently a Chevy 283 engine in her, as it was replaced in the early 70s to provide more power for longer distances. She runs great, body has some defects, but overall, she is ready to drive anywhere, just in need of some simple body work, and a possible paint job depending on your intentions with the vehicle.
