This has some updates and might have been a forest service wagon.
“Multipurpose Willys Wagon 4 wheel drive. Very unique wagon with 265 Chevrolet small block chevy connected to a T90 3 speed transmission and Dana 18 transfercase. The wagon also includes a warn overdrive system and a Power take off (PTO) that is connected to a winch. Brand new wheels and tires, working heater, CB radio, electric fan, auxiliary gas tank, fire extinguisher, tow bar and hitch. Wagon was designed for survival. Comes with multiples gun racks, believed to be a forestry vehicle in Montana.”

“1955 Willys Station Wagon 2wd with Ford 289 V8 engine and C6 automatic transmission. Power steering, A/C (needs compressor), tilt steering column, and custom interior. 2 sets of wheels, 2 sets of hub caps, 1 set of spinners, and 2 extra hoods. New tires, distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, and spark plug wires. Steering and front suspension need work, but vehicle runs good and drives for short distances. You will probably need trailer unless local to Bryan/College Station.”
I’m sure I posted this one, but not sure what happened to it. Thanks to Dan for pointing it out.
“This has been in the family since mid 1960s. Yes, it is in pathetic shape. It underwent a hack job to make into a pickup. Still has some decent body panels. Last ran ~2006 after getting new (non-stock) wiring, rebuilt knuckles/wipers, a Chevy 305 V8, and a bell housing adapter. Still has original 3 speed with lever overdrive. A new gas tank was installed at some point. Not sure if this is a parts car or if someone wants to bring it back to something functional.
Body style is 4×473 SW.
Serial No. is 12123.”
Chad shared this wagon that’s being auctioned at Bring-A-Trailer’s website. More pics and info on the site.
“This 1961 Willys Overland Wagon was purchased by the previous owner out of New Mexico in August 2007 and was acquired by the selling dealer last month. The truck has been repainted in beige under a prior owner and the roof was refinished in early 2016. Work in 2011 included removing the 226ci Super Hurricane flathead inline-six, manual transmission, and transfer case, and replacing all gaskets and seals. The cylinder head was machined at the same time, and a tuneup was conducted with new ignition components. Both the front and rear axles have been rebuilt, while four new shocks were fitted. Receipts for the mechanical work and refinished roof are included in the sale, and the truck is offered by the selling dealer carrying a clean Texas title.”

Newly rebuilt F134-4 cyl motor with less than 2 hrs on it, runs quietly and well. 3 speed transmission with hi/low 4 wheel drive transfercase. New: clutch, 8 volt battery, coil, points, condensor, rotor, cap, wires and plugs. 5 new tires, no miles. 78,621 miles, believed to be correct, speedometer still works! “1948 48 Willys Overland Jeep Panel Delivery 2wd. These make great hot rat street rods! Has not run in years and will need work to get it there but it is so very cool with the patina and all…
The only rust is at the lower cowl to front fender area — otherwise very solid.
Barn doors in back are way nicer than the tail gate I think.”

Dual batteries?
“All original, no rust, rebuilt 4-cylinder motor. Runs and drive great.
