“trade for model a ford not for sale trade only”
The truck has some dust, but otherwise looks nice. The jeep is listed as a 1950, but I’m guessing it is more likely a CJ-2A.

Chris is selling his beautiful truck. He has a complete history of ownership as well. Looks like a good price to me.
“Here is a brief history of this truck. The truck was originally owned by two brothers that used it in upper Michigan on their farm for light work duty. They kept it in the original condition and when the second of the two brothers died, the truck went to their nephew. The nephew is about my age and he didn’t know much about the truck accept that his instructions were not to sell it to anyone that wanted to modify it, change it or not appreciate the nature of it. Another younger guy looked at it before me but he wanted to turn it into a Mud jumper truck and the nephew couldn’t bear to see that happen.
I’ve loved Willys jeeps since a kid but my Dad could not afford one. After my Dad died I found this truck. I’ve owned this truck about 15 years. Always garaged, never driven after November or before April due to salt and never abused. I use it for work around the yard hauling stuff and going to the dump.
It has the original L-134 flathead 4 cylinder engine which makes about 60 horsepower. Good compression in all the cylinders and I have not replaced the valves so I add the lead substitute to the fuel. I had the generator replaced last fall since she wasn’t keeping a charge, and now she puts out about 150 amps with the original 6 volt system. There are no accessories in this truck, no fan heater, no defroster, no radio, just like 1948. The heat is knob down by the passenger floor. The wipers are vacuum. The speedometer is stuck at 20mph but she only goes about 40 mph tops anyway any faster and you have to really hang on! The truck did come with an oil filter, which seems like it was an option in 1948.
She runs great. The interior and seats are all original as is the headliner. The turn signals are an add on since they didn’t have them in 1948. The shift linkage is a 3 on the tree with the transfer case and hi/lo range on the floor.”

“PRICE DROP NEED TO SELL. I am selling my 1948 willys pickup project truck. With 1988 internation scott frame and running gear. Good working 4 wheel drive. Dana 44 front and rear. 35in tires, 345 interanational motor with automatic transmison. Has a chevy tilt wheel steering colum. Needs a little work but will make a great off work rig.”
Lots of parts, but am less clear there is a full truck between the two.
“Two trucks and many spare parts. With everything here, someone can end up with one very nicely restored pickup. In the bed of the maroon truck are two fenders, a hood, and front grill among other things. Original engine in the light-bluish-green truck, but no engine or tranny in the maroon one. The one with the engine was running when it was parked. Email or text 205-447-4181 for more information. ”

This looks like a nice truck.
“Custom extended cab, 360 Chrysler crate motor, Roller Rockers, Headers, 727 auto trans with O/D, B&M ProRatchet shifter, 8 3/4 posi rearend, Camero subframe and steering with tilt wheel, Autometer SportComp gauges. The truck handles like a sports car and is fun to drive. Holley carb and MSD ignition. Approx 400 HP. And yes, it is fast !
The headliner and rear compartment need upholstering , and it has some dings in the paint on the fenders from being driven on a gravel road, but overall it looks really good.”

I can only hope that this formerly rare four door wagon was rusted beyond being savable, so was chopped down to a four door wagon. One can always hope, right? Never-the-less, the result is surely odd.
“1947 Jeep that was a 4 door has been shaved down to a 2 door single cab. 91 5.0 8 engine with 58,000 miles. Power steering, power brakes.F150 chassi and transmiission. Interior work needed. Runs great can drive away today. Email for more info. **Cash only when vehicle is seen/ picked up**”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Were $4000.
(05/29/2012) One runs and one doesn’t.
“I have decided to sell both my willys trucks together, I will not separate. The black one is a 1948. It has a later model overhead valved, 134ci 4cyl motor. It runs and I have been using it here on the farm till recently. It has started to “flood out” a little in past few weeks. I have filed for the title and am wating to get it. Both trucks have good tires. The green one is a 1960. I have the title to it. It does not run. It has the 6cyl “super hurricane” motor, but is apart. It has the original koenig pto drive winch on it. This is kinda rare. I simply don’t have the time to restore either one of them. I will not seperate, and the price is firm.”

Brazilian rare ADs.

Bryan is looking for an early Willys Truck in good condition with no mods. Bryan has restored Land Rovers in Connecticut for 27 years, so he knows a thing or two about working with old vehicles. Email him at the address below.

This might a good price if the body is in good shape and it drives well.
