“Selling my old US Army WWII jeep. It’s a Ford made jeep, complete with lots of F marked parts. Willys was the other manufacturer of WWII jeeps and the MB is very similar. It is not restored and appears to have never been apart other than for some repairs over the years. It needs a full restoration if you want a perfect WWII jeep. As it is I had lots of fun in parades with it back around Y2K. Sure there are extra holes, rusted spots, missing parts here and there, and the gas tank is rotted as is the floor around it. There are four original WWII tires, one of which was used by a modern tire company to remake the molds for the WWII Firestone tires. I wouldn’t recommend driving it home, as you will want to install new tires and look at the brakes before you do any driving around on public roads. It could make a great display in a store, or a wonderful project.
I’m looking for the best offer on this one.. I’ll start at $7999, and won’t take $500. I really don’t want to sell it but the county is forcing my hand. Gotta love those tax appraisers. Its time for someone to give this jeep the home it deserves. I don’t have the funds to do a proper restoration, so I did my best to preserve what was there and doll it up a bit for parades. If you want to get down to the original olive drab Army paint, a lot of it is still there under the krylon spray paint. The blue stripe is an original marking.

“I have for sale a rust free M416 Jeep trailer. It has a tailgate cut in it.”
Looks like a fair price.
“WWII Converto brand dump trailer that was towed behind the jeeps for construction work on the islands for runways and the like. It is in excellent condition except for the tow hitch as the eye was removed and a fork hitch installed. Original tailgate and data tag. To operate you pull the lever for the tailgate (with rope from jeep or tractor if you want), then you pull the lever for the dump lock. It is engineered to dump via gravity, very simple and rugged.
What can you buy today for a dump trailer of this high quality and historic value for this price?”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $1500.
Look like it would clean up well.

“2 Wheel, 1/2 Ton Airborne was manufactured during WW II by Converto Manufacturing Company. It was designed for use with jeeps and light trucks for hauling tools, equipment, and other supplies in support of Airborne Engineer operations. This trailer was distinguished by having the ability to tilt and dump its contents through a rear tailgate.
the condtion of the dump trailer is in mint condition there’s a couple rusty parts on it but not bad for being over 70yrs plus. it works perfectly..no paperwork.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $950.
“This 1948 T3-C (S/N#18707) is as an excellent restoration candidate. There’s very little bad about the trailer. I’d say the biggest deal are some non-stock holes drilled into the body. Easily filled back in with MIG/TIG and grinder. The floor is very solid but intervention is suggested to stop the surface rust which is just beginning to pit the steel. There is no rust though anywhere on this trailer. Correct rims, original tires hold air. Springs in perfect shape. Top rails are straight as an arrow. Fenders are in fantastic shape. Stake pockets are not bent. Nice tail gate. No bondo anywhere. The data plate is there but not easy to read.
I have all of the internals for the fulton coupler which come with it, however I do not have the correct 8 sided knob (I have a 4 sided knob which will get the job done). The trailer and tailgate chains are not original but easily procured. The rear lights (operable) and reflectors are not original (yet functional) and will take some time and searching for the correct parts….but that’s half the fun!

“This jeep has its original engine and body that was made from the factory in 1945 still in great condition, original color was pasture green.
New water pump was installed just recently its floor boards have also been poured with a reinforced rubber. Trailer included,”
This looks like a K-38 cable trailer. And, it is built by the same company (Highway Trailer), but the tag and wheels suggest to me this is a pre-WWII model. The Highway trailer company of Edgerton, Wisconsin, began as a wagon works. In 1917 it shifted to trailers, large and small. This one would look better behind a vintage spoked vehicle from the 1920s.
“$800 OBO
Serious Inquiries Only Please
Must sell!
Excellent vintage condition with original Highway Trailer tag intact. No rusted holes and in great restoration condition or keep as is! Original wheels with Goodyear tires.”

“1943 Ford gpw Army Jeep with option for Bantam trailer. It has a Buick 225 V6 with Warren Overdrive and rear posi with front power lock differentials. Full cage roll bar gas and Tire rack on rear.
It needs new tires and hasn’t been started for over 5 years but it is not froze up. I poured oil in the carburetor before storing it. So it will need an oil change and a new battery and a little love but all in all it’s a very nice Ford gpw army jeep M1 gun mount on windshield set up for the Rubicon. For more information contact me.
I’m sorry I don’t have better pictures. The Jeep is not at my home but it is in Fremont.”

(03/08/2017) Runs, but needs some work.
“Here’s a nice, 2 owner Willys barn find! 1959 Willys CJ3B. Looks to be original miles! Has had a minimal amount of body work done in it’s lifetime, and has obviously been repainted, but appears to be the original color. The tub and frame are in excellent condition. Starts and runs okay, but needs some TLC. The drive train is a little noisy too. Has the factory heater/defroster. Windshield is broken, as is the driver’s door window. Top easily removes with two people (looks much better without the top in my opinion). I have the old-school Illinois title, which was issued in 1976 when the previous owner bought it from the original purchaser. Come make me an offer!”
UPDATE: **SOLD**
(02/06/2017) “Custom one of a kind Jeep Trailer
1976 Postal Jeep – clean title
Pull with you classic car or truck
Make a custom camp trailer / food cart ect”
Has a variety of early parts.
“This was the 1117th cj made after WWII. As far as I know it is original motor. When I bought it had just been mechanically restored by a company called Northstar Willys. He found the 38th one and decided to sell this one. I had some body work done but tried to keep as much original as possible. I did however change to a 12volt system. The Jeep runs good and as you can see in one of the photos it looks like the water pump just started leaking other than that no real issues. I used the jeep very little… just as a my mule to haul tools for small projects around where I live. Unsure of actual mileage.”
Looks solid. You can buy the M-38 for only $8500 by itself.
“I have a older restoration. 1950 M38 done 30 years ago when nos parts were easy, with summer top, grc 9 radio set, back seat ect. Its 100 % rust free and stright with no bondo, one of the best m38 I bought then. now the bad news, I used it 30 years ago to drive into my silver mine (worked great) and then parked it in the barn, were it has sat since. So the gas is ugly, batterys are shot, tires do hold air and look great with 100 % tread. (but they are still 30 years old) brakes dont work, the seals will need replacing. I now need the storage and the jeep has to go , price is 8500.00 there is also a M100 1/4 trailer for sell. The m100 trailer is real nice, right hitch, cover, used it with my m38 jeep, the trailer has not moved in 30 years, been stored inside the barn. I need the space. The good, body, paint, hitch, fenders ect , not so good, tire shop broke 3 lung nuts, studs years ago to fix a flat so the lugs need to be replaced, the floor is a little wavy (nothing bad but it is not 100% new, I used it to haul my supply in to the mine )1800.00 or if you buy the jeep and trailer 9800.00 Please no tire kickers, I only want monny, no trades, and I dont need any help to sell the jeep. In short if you dont have the cash dont call. ”
