I bought this wooden puzzle jeep the other day. It came assembled, so of course, I took it apart. It turns out that putting it together wasn’t as easy as I thought, but I did get it together. You can see me celebrating my ‘victory’ (well, that’s the fuzzy version of me — I am celebrating no-shave November)

The Jeep Board Games and Puzzles
This rare game was listed earlier this month at a live auctioneers.com. It didn’t sell. I contacted the auction company and was told the consigner isn’t sure whether they will list it again or not. You can also learn more about the Jeep Board at the CJ-3B Page.
“Rare first edition the only one I can find is in a museum The Jeep board a second World War period board game produced by the George S Carrington Company of Chicago Illinois usa in 1943 The game is complete with its original components comprising box rulebook and pegs”

Tonka Wrecker with an Original Box on eBay
This has already hit $110 . . .
“if your looking for a very nice Antique or Vintage 1960,s Tonka Jeep Wrecker diecast model toy this is it! this is a 1960’s Model Jeep Wrecker made by Tonka toys. it is about 10 inches long by 6 inches high, and about 5 iches wide something like a 1/16 scale. this vintage collectors Jeep is very rare it is almost like in new condition, only for a few small spots of paint missing and they are very small. and this also comes with its original Box and is also in good condition and its rare to find a Jeep in this condition with a original box this nice also. I have added many pictures to show how nice this Jeep is and there is no rust at all on it also as you can see from top to bottom of Jeep. I am selling this for a friend that needs money pretty bad or he would not be wiiling to sell this special Jeep, for he was giving this from his Grandmother in the early 1960’s and has kept it in storage and never really played with it, it also has the original string and hook from the Jeeps wrecker. he going to star it at a great starting price well below its worth.”
Surrey Friction Jeep on eBay
Here’s a neat friction Surrey Jeep.
“Vintage Pink Surrey Willies Overland Jeep CJ Wrangler Scale Metal Friction Model!
Please view the images for condition.
Here we have an awesome tin friction car modeled after some old Jeep, not sure of the exact model. Friction motor was locking up at first but appears fine now and seems to work alright. Looks like there may have been a top over the passenger compartment at one time as there are six of the typical tin holes for extra parts to fit into on the rear of the jeep and the windshield frame. Overall great condition, might need some cleaning in the tight areas and does show some minimal wear. No maker mark or country of origin stamp on this one. Totally excellent jeep!!”

1963 Tonka Jeep Runabout with Boat & Box on eBay
This has already hit $316.99! I think building a look-alike real-scale of this would be a neat project.

When I was a kid I drug one of these all over our property.

Not mint, but good condition given their age. They measure about 10 inches long by 8 inches wide. All the tires spin freely and have their nut caps on the wheels. All have their stickers. Turret Jeep Toy by Illco on eBay
This is the first I’ve seen one of these.
“vintage (late 60’s, early 70’s) illco toy battery operated army turret jeep, multi action with real ‘ack-ack’ sound machine gun, tested but not working consistently (maybe a loose wire connection, typical for these kind of vintage toys, battery compartment clean), measures about 10.5″ long, comes with original box that is in great condition with very little wear, great display piece. This piece is beautiful and looks brand new. I have not seen many like it and it would make a great addition to a collection. Bid with confidence, I only sell high quality vintage items.”
United Airlines Jeep
UPDATE: MIke has a toy that looks similar to the ones below, only it is branded differently (shown at the bottom)
Does anyone know if United Airlines had any real jeeps that looked anything like these in terms of coloring/branding?

Andy Gard Gee-I-Jeep Remote Control Toy **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
“Andy Gard Toys are rare to begin with. Gee-I-Jeep with Box. One of the first remote control cars on the market. Orginial box. The later models had a steering wheel on the controller. I tried a couple of D batteries but could not get it to work. It may be a simple wire fix? The windshield has broken off but is included and maybe able to be glued back on? This is a very rare plastic toy in this condition and the box makes it so collectable.”

Mahindra Toy Jeep out of India **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
“ice plastic 1:40 scale model of the Mahindra MM 540 Jeep. It was also based on the CJ-5 Jeep and its origins are very clearly to be seen. The hood is detachable and for the purists, the stickers can easily be removed. The model comes mint in box and it has a pull back friction engine. Made in India.”
Rare Tin Police Jeep w/ TV Screen **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
On the back is a screen that has animations. The CJ-3B Page shows a similar, but not the same model: http://cj3b.info/Toys/PoliceToys2.html
“Win this nice one for your collection. Very rare Movie Screen Police Willys Jeep by MODERN TOYS. Has an amazing illuminated and animated screen which rolls through freeway scenes, traffic snarls, the highway patrol on the road & issuing infringement notices. I’ve included a video showing this but it’s pretty out of focus. The toy moves about the floor in a random fashion. Think the light on the front is supposed to flash but isn’t working. This may need some tinkering and another small project would be a new steering wheel and seat base. Too good to be called a toy! Scans and photos are of the actual item & form part of the description.
22.5cm long x 10.8cm wide x 12cm high. 1-2 kilos packed weight. Item No: 800016”
My ‘New’ FC-150s
I have been meaning to get a couple FC toys so that the next time I show up at a FC event I can be an official FC owner, even if they are FC-minis. A couple weeks ago I finished up eWillys early, so I trolled through a variety of FC toys on eBay. I came across two low priced, imperfect Corgie FC-150s out of the UK that would fit my minimal budget. I figured if I bid on a couple of them I’d walk away with at least one of them. Instead, I guess no one else wanted them. Thus, I ended up with two FCs.
These toys are a nice heavy weight metal, much heavier than I thought they would be. In fact, they feel heavier than some of the plastic Tonka toys I’ve seen. Both toys could use some TLC, but I think I’ll keep them just the way they are.
Here’s an example of how the FC w/ the conveyer belt ought to look like. Mine works, but the conveyer belt is missing.
Here are some more Corgi Jeep Toys on Flickr, too. Apparently, Corgi made all kinds of vehicles. A wide variety of Corgi vehicles have been photographed and placed on Flickr.
