I bought this wooden puzzle jeep the other day.  It came assembled, so of course, I took it apart.  It turns out that putting it together wasn’t as easy as I thought, but I did get it together.  You can see me celebrating my ‘victory’ (well, that’s the fuzzy version of me — I am celebrating no-shave November)

This rare game was listed earlier this month at a live auctioneers.com.  It didn’t sell.  I contacted the auction company and was told the consigner isn’t sure whether they will list it again or not.  You can also learn more about the Jeep Board at the CJ-3B Page.

Here’s a rare plastic jeep (at least I’ve never seen one). It includes a rough box.

According to the description, you can cast your own jeeps.  No examples of how good (or poor) they are.

When I was a kid I drug one of these all over our property.

“Here is a vintage lot of three, vintage Tonka red DUNE BUGGIES from the early 1970’s.  Made of steel.

Not mint, but good condition given their age.  They measure about 10 inches long by 8 inches wide.  All the tires spin freely and have their nut caps on the wheels.  All have their stickers.  All have their steering wheels.  One is missing a headlight and that one has some paint wear and sticker/label peeling”

This is the first I’ve seen one of  these.

“Andy Gard Toys are rare to begin with. Gee-I-Jeep with Box. One of the first remote control cars on the market. Orginial box. The later models had a steering wheel on the controller. I tried a couple of D batteries but could not get it to work. It may be a simple wire fix? The windshield has broken off but is included and maybe able to be glued back on? This is a very rare plastic toy in this condition and the box makes it so collectable.”

Has an amazing illuminated and animated screen which rolls through freeway scenes, traffic snarls, the highway patrol on the road & issuing infringement notices. I have been meaning to get a couple FC toys so that the next time I show up at a FC event I can be an official FC owner, even if they are FC-minis.  A couple weeks ago I finished up eWillys early, so I trolled through a variety of FC toys on eBay.  I came across two low priced, imperfect Corgie FC-150s out of the UK that would fit my minimal budget. I figured if I bid on a couple of them I’d walk away with at least one of them.  Instead, I guess no one else wanted them.  Thus, I ended up with two FCs.

These toys are a nice heavy weight metal, much heavier than I thought they would be. In fact, they feel heavier than some of the plastic Tonka toys I’ve seen.  Both toys could use some TLC, but I think I’ll keep them just the way they are.

Here’s an example of how the FC w/ the conveyer belt ought to look like.  Mine works, but the conveyer belt is missing.
