Vehicle is complete except seat cushions, windshield adjustment brackets, one hood hold down and one headlight trim ring.will need brake work. I bought this recently but my health will prevent me from getting it running. So I am selling or trading so I can buy a running cj or wrangler. Will entertain offers”

Are you looking for a Hot Rod Shift Knob? There are some unusual ones at HotRodShiftKnobs.com.
From the website, Welcome to Hot Rod Shift Knobs, where shifters go to find their perfect knob. I started this biz as a kustom car, hot rod and classic car lover, and opened my first store House O’ Speed. I thought there oughta be place where people with rat rods, traditional hot rods and just about anything in between could find unique shift knobs for their rides. Ceramic shift knobs, antique glass door knob shift knobs, pewter sand-cast shift knobs, glitter shift knobs, marbleized knobs, nostalgia knobs, vintage grenade shift knobs, skull knobs, shrunken head knobs, custom one-of-a-kind shifts knobs that are hand-painted using candies, metallics and high-end automotive finishes. You won’t find the run of the mill stuff here, folks….
Below are examples of their Frankenstein Knob options.
You can also see some really strange ones at Pirate 4×4’s Cool Shift Knobs thread.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was Make Offer.
I’m not sure what it would take to get the other parts necessary to make this work.
“I have a Monroe 3 point hitch for a willys jeep in good restorable condition with the tank/controller. no pump. does not include link arms or pto just the lift and controller. Will take trades or cash, make me an offer and we can go from there,”
A reader named Mike asked me to post this.
“I have a completely rebuilt a CJ-2A starter. It has a new bendix. The guts have all been cleaned and turned. The bushings and brushes have been cleaned. I even have the new bushing that goes in the bellhousing. Its a 6 volt starter. It came out of a 1947 CJ-2A. I put a 12 volt starter in and so do not need it anymore. I invested 150 dollars, so want to get 100 dollars for it. It’s in excellent condition.”
Well, this is cool. I’ve never seen one of these before.
“This 12 Volt Electric Winch came off a 1963 Willy’s CJ 5 and works well. It was made by City Engineering INC, Indianapolis, Indiana. Serial No. 79912. This is an authentic winch and would enhance the look of any jeep. For questions or to arrange a time to see this winch, please call Ralph at 517-582-1104″
“72” plow for a willys jeep cj2a also includes frame rail braces for mounting and hydraulics for original 4cyl to lift the plow… send an email for more info. $500 or best offer”
A reader named Robert noted my interest in an alternative emergency brake. He purchased the one to the right and says it looks pretty good, though he still needs to install it. While this isn’t exactly what I’m seeking, it is a great price at $4.95.
“Can be made to fit many applications. Originally designed as brake cables on Military trailers and Jeeps Unused/Unissued. Handle style and color may vary.”
UPDATE: Mike has informed me that this sold. I”ll leave this here so the comment thread stays intact.
Mike writes, “It has a new 12 volt motor with a core that was fixed at a shop. It is nice not rusted or beat up.”
I was looking for some Willys Jeep script ran across the Tail Light King Website accidently. I don’t think I mentioned it last time, but the taillightking.com has Willys & Jeep lights as well.
Several of our finest in Blue from Arizona read ewillys daily. One of the readers asked about diamond plating for old flatties. I can’t say I was much help, but maybe some of you have a suggestion?
Here is what I wrote:

There was no price listed on this trencher. It’s bit rusted, but these are hard to find.
“Trencher from an old jeep. Just removed from the jeep. Complete. Call Bob at 605 852 2156”
No pics and little description.
“engines, transmissions, axles and misc. 970-620-3010”

This is one of the least expensive winches I’ve come across through Craigslist. It looks like dad’s old winch, which never failed us in 15 years of use.
“Old school, would be awesome for restoration on vintage 4×4, this is the winch that later became the famous warn upright 8274. It worked great when removed from 1964 Jeep CJ5 a year ago. $250 or will consider trade for f*re arms, canoe, aluminum boat willys jeep parts etc. ”
Diamond plating is great for covering all kinds of problems. Almost better than duct tape … almost …
“For sale are 3 sheets of diamond plate 1/8 inch thick aluminum. I have two sheets at 2 feet tall and 6 feet long, and one sheet at 2 feet tall and 4 feet long. It was for a project I never got to. Email me name and number. These pieces would go for over $400.00 and can be made into anything with simple metal cutting tools (like a skill saw)!”
A reader named Roy provided this link. Here’s a nicely updated, offset and complete Dana 44. These offset Dana 44’s are becoming less comon.
“Here is a dana 44 offset rearend for sale. It has a Warn Full Floating Kit on it Eaton Posi Disc brake Conversion Kit & 4:56 Gears. This Rear end will fit any Jeep that has a Dana 18 Transfercase. cj5 or Willy’s cj2a/cj3a or cj3b. (559) 593-8590 Thank you”
