It looks like this is the CJ-2A era Capstan with a modified mount for the crankshaft (unless I”m mistaken; I’m no expert on these).

It bolts right to the front bumper and has a drive that bolts up to the crank, so it is a “permanent” fixture on your refurbished Jeep.
