-Dana 27 rear axle

The previous owners put a v8 and cherry bomb exhaust in it and ran it like that. The motor is junk. The body needs work but Kaiserwillys . com sells new body panels and full tubs for what you want to replace. This would be a full restore but when completed a 1942 MB goes for about $22,000 on average as most that hit the streets in the US were battle damaged. This is a WWII military piece of history and I cannot bring myself to junk it. BUT I could sell the frame, transmission, transfer case and axles and scrap the rest and make $800, I just don’t have the time to put into the restore while working 60-70 hours a week. I was going to put a 1.6l VW diesel engine in it and run it around town… I have that for sale as well for a additional cost(Incomplete engine). call/text 210-551-9739 (more likely to get a reply from text/email as i don’t tend to answer random phone numbers.)”

Has roll bar, intact windshield, also two additional (pre-1960s) windshields with cracked glass. The seats and motor inside jeep are not Willys but can be included or removed if you desire. No title. converted to 12v with all new wiring; engine has brand new clutch, flywheel, starter, and seals on transmission; has 3 inch lift kit with 2 inch lift shackles and 5 brand new wheels and mud terrain tires. new shocks; new fuel cell; custom diamond plate corners; interior has been bed-coated; all new gauges except the speedo gauge; great rig, just have to many toys; $4500 obo or possible trade….let me know what you have”

Lots and lots of rust.

“WWII Willys MB Jeep. There are no data tags on the glove box; The tag on the frame is broken, but the remaining part shows MB 4235. The body number on the toe board is 207190. The jeep can be used for parts or restored (it will need a lot of work). It has four combat rims, two have issuse. The grill is welded to the fenders. The motor and transmission are not original. The motor looks to be a buyback as it has the oval pad for the serial number as the original motors do. it has no radiator. The driver’s seat will need some repair, but the passenger’s seat is great. The jeep is located in Billerica and we can assist in loading it on your trailer. $1300 or BO”

I still have alot of the origonal parts – flathead if you want to restore. I will miss my jeep but with 2 kids and another on the way I need at toy with a roof and seat belts. Its alot of fun to take out in the desert and for light rock crawling. She will power over anything in granny low and if that don’t do it the 4×4 works great, you will roll over backwards before you find something you can’t climb. 5000 dollars o.b.o or 1973 or lower running muscle/sports car.
