Nick forwarded this find. The seller wants to sell everything together.
“My father was a very early (charter?) member of one of the first Jeep clubs in the country: the Yakima Ridgerunners (est. 1947). I am 65 and literally grew up in the back of his 1945 Military GPW Jeep. His WW2 Jeep was his baby, meticulously maintained, well-cared for, and always housed in the large barn on his property in Yakima.
Over the years he continuously added to his parts collection, and at the time of his recent death (April 2013) his WW2 military Jeep parts and parts Jeeps occupied a good share of the barn and adjacent shed building. Two of the Jeeps, plus a utility trailer built on Jeep axles, wheels, rims & tires, are titled, but only one is fully operational — his original, mint-condition 1945 GPW. But the WW2 era Jeep parts collection is extensive.
As the Personal Representative of his Estate I am now authorized to offer his entire “collection” for sale for $10,000 FIRM! I have received considerable interest, and several offers, for portions of this inventory, but wish to sell the entire “WW2 Military Jeep collection” in a single transaction, either to a single buyer or a group of buyers, but in a single transaction”

“1942 MB
This is an Arizona Jeep that came east in 2002. I have documentation dating back to 1980. Before coming east it was rebuilt at Kong’s 4×4 shop in Phoenix Az with receipts totaling over $9700 which I’ll hand over to the new owner. Some of the items on the list is a rebuilt engine, new fuel tank, master cylinder, brakes, springs, shocks, just to name a few.
When it came east the new owner used it to drive to his summer cottage until 2009 where it was parked in his garage until I purchased it. The engine doesn’t have more then 1500 miles on the rebuild and runs great! It starts first turn of the flywheel every time without issues. The engine, transmission, and transfercase is GPW with proper stamped “F” bolts. The frame and body is in solid condition. Comes with top bows full canvas top, full canvas cover, Koenig PTO winch, and clean title. $6500″

“It’s all there but the EM brake. Comes with new reproduction body, 5 original combat rims. I drove it into the shop, but has not run since. Good Jeep but needs someone with the time and energy to get it back on the road.
New seat canvas, canvas windshield cover and canvas top.
To clarify, the Jeep still has an original, but rough, body on it. I collected a lot of replacement parts off old scrapped bodies or NOS to repair the damaged and missing parts.
I converted the EL to 12 volts but I still have all the 6 volt stuff, including an original voltage regulator, generator and starter, that go with the Jeep. Also, I have 90% of the EM brake, I just never got it on the Jeep.
The Repo body can be seen in the back ground. It is a complete body kit of the late war style body.
If you are interested in just the Jeep as is with all the extra parts, $7,500 OBO.
If you are interested in just the body kit $2,500 OBO.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This was owned by a former POW of the Battle of the Bulge.
“This is a Willys WWII Jeep, It runs and drives and looks very good. It would be great for parade use or for a reinactor. It has the markings of my fathers unit 99th Division 924th Field Artillery. He was an EX – POW from the Battle of the Bulge,( he escaped 3 months later) and enjoyed riding in it. We have no room to store it now that he is gone and this house is sold. It needs to be maintained like anything else but does run and drive and stop well. It has had new wheel cylinders and a New started assembly. I do have the title that says 1941 Jeep MB. We know that it says the wrong year but we thought the next owner could have it corrected or leave it alone. It has a nice top that is like new just do not have any photos of it up. No cracks it the windshield. It has a winter insulator made of canvas on the hood. I was told it is unusual. The lights all work including the cats eyes Black out lights. The tires are old as is the seat canvas but I like the way it looks. You could restore it or drive it like it is”
UPDATE: **SOLD** was $7500

Bill from Lime Street Carriage spotted this jeep siting on the side of the road south of Kona in the Captain Cook area of the Big Island of Hawaii. This is similar to several other oddly shaped jeeps near Captain Cook, HI, (here and here) that have been for sale. There was no for sale sign on the one below.
It sure seems likely that someone built all of these.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000
I’m unclear why the seller thinks this was in the Air Force. Looks like the driver’s side of the body has been patched and indents filled.
“this is a good old air force jeep mp this is a 1944 modle mb not a cj it was used for a guard jeep at an air force base so it had a machine gun mounted on it so the under carriage is built heavier than a Cj. ”

UPDATE: **Sold** Was priced at $1500.
Marty spotted this old racer with a f-head. It’s got the old mini-terras, the mismatched rims, patched body panels, and a hole in the hood (who needs a scoop for racing?). Looks like a fun little rig.
“I have a 1944 willys jeep for sale. It ran when parked but has been sitting for 2 yrs. It has an f head 4 cylinder and 4 speed with depend t case wich means you can select front, rear, and 4 wheel drive. The rear end is locked. It was an old race jeep and would take a bit of work to be street legal again. Would be a cool wheeler project. It does have windshield frame not in pic though.”
This includes an inline flathead 6.
“1943 Willis with flat head six engine. Great project!!!!”

“1943 willys mb with cj2a grill. Titled as a MB. Does not run. Lots of rust was going to restore but lost interest. Make offer”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200
This is a mix of MB/GPW parts and CJ-2A.
“I have basically a complete 1946 CJ2A that is completely disassembled. I restored a 1943 GPW for a guy and have this parts Jeep leftover. Almost everything is there, but it is a major project or parts for your project. Have an Iowa title, but can not find a VIN on the frame. Usually not a problem with these older Jeeps.”
