This one has some interesting history.
“1943 Jeep with custom cab and 6′ plow. Starts and runs good. Needs brake job. No title, no plates. Cab and body parts were fabricated by German POWs in the Rhine Valley. This vehicle originally carried a generator during WWII that followed the General around – it wasn’t Ike.”

“I have a 1947 CJ2A chassis with an aftermarket MB body. Jeep has been sitting outside for 15+ years. Body and frame are in exceptional shape despite this. Hood, windshield frame and grill have been kept inside and are perfect. Have some parts…see pics. Motor is locked up but not frozen, trans is as well. broke a spark plug also, again, see pics. Have paper work. Price is firm.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.
Needs restoration. Engine is out.
“I’ve owned this jeep since 1990 when I ‘rebuilt’ it. It is very original with matching body and frame serial numbers. I’ve also posted this for sale on the g503 website. It is NOT a ‘backyard junker’ for someone to hack up for a ‘rock-crawler’, or ‘jeep rod’. I have all replacement panels and was going to restore it, but family responsibilities and other jeep projects demand my attention. This jeep is an excellent candidate for someone to rebuild as a ‘motorpool’ project or factory restoration.
This was registered for 20 years until 2011 when I pulled the incorrect Kaiser Supersonic flathead to put in my plow jeep. I have a correct WWII MB block and Willys 440 engine for parts that I was going to rebuild for it.
Frame is solid, no rust as is most of the body. Front floors were replaced ‘eons’ ago before I got it. All canvas and tires in great shape. Only repro parts are top bows and hardware; choke/throttle cables; dash panel lights; and rear seat frame. Front tires mounted on combat rims with 3 other original combat rims included.
No title as Maine does NOT title older vehicles. I do have an official ‘certification of ownership’ I recently obtained from the state of Maine DMV.
Serious inquires only. I have been involved rebuilding and restoring jeeps for 35 years and know what I have. Twice in the past month I worked with two ‘buyers’ who both backed out at the last min. One was local, the other from Europe. Because of being burned, I will store, if needed, for 2 weeks from date of sale with a non-refundable cash deposit of $500.
I have over 150 photos to share if interested. Email for requests.”

Looks like an MB body on a 1970s CJ-5 Chassis. This is still a project.

“Offered for sale from a estate is a 1944 Willys MB Military jeep 1/4 ton 4X4. Jeep is in excellent running order and has had the following work performed on it since 1970. Engine overhaul, transmission gone thru, radiator cleaned, one set of new springs, new wheel cylinders, between the two previous owners only a 1000 miles has been put on the vehicle. all metal is original from 1944,but the electrical system has been changed from 6V to 12V with a alternator put on instead of a generator. This vehicle is a piece of Americana history and is 72 years old. all wheels are original a nice historic vehicle.
