This doesn’t run, but it looks pretty stock. It might make a good resto project.
“This 1952 M38 Willys Jeep has had 1 owner since 1987. It has been stored in a garage for the last 10 years and was running when parked. All parts are there including some new parts. Just needs a little TLC.”
I’m not sure there is much value here.

“M38 Military jeep. Needs resto. Has ALL drive parts. Missing radiator, air cleaner, battery. Was convered to a 12v system. Motor cranks/not locked up. Too much of a project for me. Have an extra hood and have the windshield. Glass is good.”
Here’s a cool shot of a M-38 off Flickr by Turbo-Weasel. There are others as well. Click on this link to see them all.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2700.
The coloring of the image is strange enough that I’m wondering if this is really the jeep for sale. Though listed as a “Willys US Army Jeep”, the body suggests a M-38 while the grille suggest a civvy of some type.

For Sale: 1952 Willys-Overland Military Jeep M-38 Model C
Has been converted to 12volt system
Has wench on front bumper(not sure if original to vehicle)
Body looks rough, but seems very solid. I have found only three small holes rusted through the body.
Previous owner painted over OD green with Blue paint (now faded and mostly peeled-off)
Gas tank is completely rusted out.
All three seat frames in Jeep.
4 brand-new tires and inner-tubes.
Rear spare mount and spare with original tire
Flat hood and flat fenders.
Shovel/axe mounts on passenger side
I have not gotten the Jeep started. I put an ignition switch in and the engine turns over great. No fuel to carb yet to actually start it.
Sorry for quality of pictures. Will take more if needed

(04/20/2011) This was completed by the folks at Vintage Offroad. I can’t say I’m a big fan of the yellow steering wheel.

The seller provides a long, detailed list about this jeep. It also includes a food storage box (grub box). I think that is a custom top.
“It has a 4-speed gearbox with the lowest gear ratio of 6:1. The 4-cylinder, 2.3 liter Ford engine was rebuilt less than 5,000 miles ago. The Saturn overdrive was rebuilt about 1,500 miles ago.
