Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1951 M38 military Jeep. Transfer case and Motor completely rebuilt. Frame and body restored. Everything is original. It has been updated from 24v to 12 volt. Have the original field manual. May need a ring gear on the flywheel or a starter which I have have. Not in any hurry to sale. I just hate to see it sitting. $10,000. OBO.”
